it's because they messed up the timeline of the book trying to fit it with cutie pie. they showed domestic and sexy scenes for the second couple in the first series, cause people would obviously demand it. but actually in the book, they hardly had a relationship and that's why diao wanted to leave hia yi, now they're trying to show the problems that were there from the beginning and never got resolved when it actually looks like yidiao were fine before, and had a falling out now.

even if they do have sad ending, and i strongly believe they would, i think that's what the our skyy 2 ep is for, to tie up the loose ends or give them a happy ending

if you're talking about the wedding since that's in the last few minutes, they literally showed that adachi was reading a fairytale, which are generally really cringe, so i feel like that was spot on.

the grand aunt's bussiness wasn't that in finance, it was real estate business which in kyung clearly knew nothing about. but even if the grand aunt's bussiness was in finance, i don't think in kyung would have liked to join it, becuase even though she liked it, she had studied YEARS to become a reporter and as we can see in the whole drama, she had grown to like it and worked to almost death to become a good reporter. if you remember the scene with in kyung and her previous senior, we can draw parallels in their stories. the senior had a dream to become a reporter but was forced to quit and work as a tow driver, but the second he was offered to work as a reporter if he became a part of the shady jeongran society, he took it even if it was morally worng. now let's compare this with in kyung's story, she wanted to go in finance, but her grandma made her a reporter. in kyung had said to her senior that day, that he should have worked hard to become a tow driver instead of doing what he did to become a reporter again because that's what she was doing, she didn't want to become a reporter but now that she was one, she vowed to prove herself and become the best one. i admire her for actually doing what she tells other people to do and not be a hypocrite. but i agree on one of your points, that the self made woman, grandaunt should have let in kyung go in finance since she was good at it instead of making her a reporter.

since you don't know this, rooftop aparments in korea are dirt cheap, the living conditions in those aren't very good, and in general mostly poeple would only live there if they don't have enough money to live elsewhere. the apartments aren't even proper houses, they are like huts on a rooftop, no insulation, no heating, no air conditioning etc. so the sisters living there is a very clear representation of them living poorly. i didn't say poverty because they weren't shown to be living in poverty. it is shown that when in-joo and in- kyung were children, their family was povertized but since both of them were working now, along with their mother, no matter how little she earned, in the present although out of poverty they were still poor enough that none of them could indulge in their desires even a little

the series ended showing how pitch could go to any length to get meen, he literally killed his own sister, and made meen go through that hell. You think he would let her go that easily especially now since they have achild together. Spilliting up for normal couples who have a child together is pretty complicated in itself but spilliting up from your psychopath husband, she's never getting away. Also non didn't know more than half of the shit wanwan did in her life, right from that pool party, killing palana to the end where she killed her step mother, we can't assume that non would stay with her even after knowing all those things. True love exists but no one would want to live with a psychopath

I think at the end meen was not crying because of prae but because she had to go through hell to only discover that her husband was the one who made her go through that hell just because he couldn't let prae win and have meen. I think she realised that what pitch's mother said was true, she was only a toy for them to fight over. Also a lot of things happened after prae's death which meen blamed herself for, pitch had always told her it wasn't her fault. But at the end she got to know that all this happened because pitch wanted her to himself, she must be quite confused and as the narrator said in hell

She obviously can't go to a salon in jail and we had already seen that saras had those curly hair since her childhood when her grandmother locked her in the bathroom. I thought it was a nice touch to see her hair go back to their original state
