Good point about the son. Yeah he seemed too old. Now the question is what's the link between Meena and the ML. In the preview she seemed to recognize him. We'll see... Anyway I like her cause she's so classy and puts the FL in her place haha

I think she really could be Mink. My theory based on the preview: She survived the suicide attempt and got hired by someone to marry and destroy the female lead's dad. We know he has deadly enemies.

This is surprisingly good! The acting is great, especially the main leads. It starts off really intense but it keeps you entertained throughout. Although the plot seems like the usual revenge slap-kiss lakorn, it was really well done.
What I appreciate the most: when the male lead physically and mentally tortures the female lead for his revenge, it is acknowledged as a mental illness. In other lakorns, they gloss over all the crimes -- yes, crimes -- the male lead commits just because he "falls in love" later. At least here, it's reasonable.
As other comments have pointed out, there's all sorts of crazy here: from the usual lakorn crazy ex-wife to diagnosed mental illnesses. I kept telling myself "this is so messed up" in every episode and yet things only managed to escalate even more each time haha.
Overall a very good watch, and it left me thinking about the treatment of mental illnesses and the cycles of abuse that can perpetuate them.
I give it 8/10, and I add 1 just for the female lead's great portrayal of someone who is constantly mentally tortured. So, 9/10 for me. Totally recommend.
This was surprisingly good! I thought I wouldn't stand the FL but she was actually likable cause she gave a lot of attitude to the ML. She was only a doormat to her family. Although her logic in the last episodes made me want to pull my hair out, it was still a good watch. The chemistry was great too. The leads really portrayed their emotions well.
This drama is really good. The main leads are just too adorable and they have great chemistry. The story is really interesting too. Although I think the title should have been "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" haha ;-)
First I think it was not slap and kiss cause FL never slap the ML and for the Kiss it was not Force. Second The…
I think the title Envy Code is from the original. The ML's dad was directly implicated in the murder of the FL's parents. She used a website of "evidence" against him to threaten the ML into marrying him to have access to his house and actually search for said evidence. But instead of sending him the evidence like in this version, she would send him one letter of the password at a time. And the password was ENVY.
