I wish Hong Kong martial arts stars/directors would choreograph the fight scenes of these Mainland Jin Yong adaptations. Imagine this drama but with Donnie Yen's creative Sakra fight choreography instead of the repetitive, rigid movements seen here.

Unfortunately this is how his character is written in the novel. Bro is dumb and as romantic as a plank of wood.
