I cannot remember the Japanese one, but while they are both decent quality, the plot is so weird. No spoilers, it's just barely watchable (to me!!) Hong Kong maybe 5/10

Well, it is of course partly personal taste, but I would say definitely avoid the other versions and just pray the Thai version is different... Because Ossan's Love is a fever dream

I'd say the dynamic change happens in ep 13, but the makers of the show only felt bold enough to pull through for the viewers at a later episode, to lessen the risk of the show being cancelled. It's not the writings fault, more China's governments fault...
