In a plot where there is body switching, what's important to me is the character's "soul" and not the body itself. Jang Uk fell for Naksu as Mudeok, not for Buyeon. As much as I love So Min, if the initial plan was to revive Naksu's body with Naksu's soul in it, I'm so up for it. Naksu is still Naksu even if she changed her body. But, I would like them to explore Buyeon's character.
I just remembered the ending of the romance of Mr. Queen. I didn't quite like it because I believe that the King fell for the chef and not the Queen. So in the case of Alchemy of Souls, my ship is Jang Uk x Naksu (no matter whose body she's occupying).
I wish they unraveled the story of Gyehoon's dad. I think that he was able to come up with the right conclusion which lead to his death. Instead of draggy scenes, they could have give some focus to this as well as what really happened to Gyeyoung. They died and that's it? Also, it would have been nice if they found clues through the investigation of Gyehoon's dad. I was also not satisfied with how the case of Eunjung's sister ended. Was Lee Jingeun her killer or was she another victim of the Gyeyoung's killer? Also, why did the murders even happen? Were Gyeyoung and Dahyun supposed to be sold? Then, how about Eunjung's sister? Were their organs removed from their bodies and sold? If it was human trafficking, I reckon there should have been more victims. Aaaahh I don't know. I also didn't feel the "happy" ending. I guess, I'm glad Gyehoon found his family so that can help him and his mother towards healing.

I'll make some new English subtitles for this, unless somebody else was already working on it. If anybody knows…

But that is what the show is about. It’s about failed idols and how they paved their own way. In the end it…
I understand that but I personally did not like it. If I were in their shoes, I would not have been able to let go of the dream of becoming an idol especially that I am aware of the support I gained after all those struggles. They were so happy about preparing for the music show, producing their music track, reading how their fans were defending them, etc. so yeah I'm just thinking that after experiencing all that, it's a waste because their dream came true but they let go of it. But, this is just what I personally thought of it.
I actually did not like that they disbanded. I mean, Elle is still a vocal trainer and Stella is an actress. I guess, they gained fame so it's easier to find jobs but then, I was expecting them to change their name or whatever and stay in a group. They gained a lot of fans as a group so I just think that it's a waste that they stopped pursuing their dream as idols. They've got support now but they just let it go. Also, if I remember correctly, Jena said that she realized that they have a lot that they can do after they disband. I did not really like that because it seemed that in the end, they could have pursued something else instead of being stubborn and going through a lot of hardships just to get that #1 and disband.
Illusion? Everyone has a choice. Its up to you to make the right one.
It's an illusion because there is no right one. Just like in the series, the players are in trouble whether they play or not. So it's like weighing which option is the best one but not the one they truly want because it doesn't exist.
Well, what's new, people wanting their happily-ever-after endings, lol. But it could also be due to the inexperience,…
Hmmm. Not for me. I watch a lot of different genres. It's not like I wanted a happily ever after for this series. It's just that, even at the end, he was an irresponsible father. He should have thought why he joined the game in the first place. I don't mind him going after the game masters but he should have at least made some time for his daughter.
Predictable things in the series: 1)Joon Ho's brother behind the black mask 2)The marble game being a duel 3)Gi Hoon winning 4)The old man being one of the people behind the game
What I liked in the series: 1) The comedy 2) The games 3) The theme 4) The acting
What I did not like in the series: 1) I was not particularly attached to any of the players. I was rooting for Joon Ho but he was not able to do anything for the game to be stopped (at least from this season). If there were another season, I'm guessing that he survives the fall but he was not able to save the phone containing the evidences so he has to work towards obtaining them again. 2) I did not like Gi Hoon. He was in a situation where death in inevitable. He won without actually doing anything dirty. It's like he left the dirty work for other people to do so I find him a hypocrite because he was the one who benefited from all those dirty deeds. Well, I guess except when he played with the old man, he cheated but the closure of that scene made it like what he did was okay because the old man was willing to lose for him. I don't know what I'm typing anymore but I guess in summary, I didn't like that he got mad at others for pushing others to death when he himself did it too. Lastly, I did not like that he left his daughter hanging like that. They did not meet for so long but he did not come and see her. I also wanted him to look after Sae Byok's brother but he left the child to the care of Sang Woo's mother.
I started reading the webtoon because I liked the first two episodes of the drama. To be honest, I like the drama version of Ma Ha compared to the webtoon's so far. The drama and the webtoon have a lot of differences. I dropped the webtoon because it felt a little draggy while I read it and I was not excited seeing the interactions of the main couple. For now, I hope the rest of the drama episodes will satisfy what I wanted from the webtoon.
this is so good!!! omg, I really love the lead girl, she's so amazing! and the ending?? who is the guy?? is it…
I'm not that sure but I believe that FL chose the doctor because she said that she was willing to trust again. I remembered the doctor asking her to trust him and begin a relationship with each other.
