I think it's weird to write his character this bad because at this rate no one would like to watch LIP. I haven't finished LIP but at least in the first episodes he was a nice guy.

"Love and redemption" was my first drama of Cheng Yi eveeeeer! (and also my first and last loooong drama). He really marked me with his acting, more than the actress whose name I can't even remember. I also dropped it just 3 episodes near the end because I couldn't take it anymore 💔 it was truly depressing . As much as he's talented, I just can't bring myself to watch his dramas because this guy loves tragedy (talking about wuxia/xianxia) :'(. However, I'm watching this in the hopes of having a HE pleaaase

Right! As soon as I saw him on screen, I felt an ache in my heart :') he's the best in this genre.

I appreciate the fact that they went separately on their own paths at this point. They both need this to become the best versions of themselves.

As an avid fan of Wuxia/Xianxia + I love HMH and LYX this was a true disappointment for me. I am forcing myself to watch it. It's soooooo boring and I don't feel the tension. I skipped too many scenes and I keep it playing in the background... really disappointed because I had high hopes for this one. Don't come at me , this is my personal opinion :)

You're right too, I didn't notice that. It seems like she did lose her past memories. As if the real empress dowager is just having amnesia and there wasn't any transmigration.

She just accepted the fact that she transmigrated lol she's in a coma currently so all of this is her imagination. Her husband irl is probably the same one lol this is how short dramas are. Don't try to find logic.

A complete waste of time and potentiel. It started so good but at some point it just got draggy and boring. I kept forwarding too many times. From the 28th episode upwards it's just a mess and they killed my favorite character! I dropped at 30.. yeah ik I resisted for too long.
