It took me too long to watch this masterpiece. I regret it and I don't at the same time. I don't regret it because now I won't have to wait 5 years for the s2 even though I'll have to wait for s3. I regret it because I wish I could forget about it and watch it again as if it's my first time. I am officially a fan of Zhang Ruo Yun. This man can act, he's a natural and has an attractive face that makes you feel at ease looking at. I liked his hairstyle in the last episodes.

Update: back after some first eps of s2.. ZYR loooks so skinny (and younger). It's very disturbing and concerning . I do prefer how he looked in s1 tho. check the episode 2 at 15:35 bro's veins are extremely visible in his neck!

I still haven't watched season 2 but I have a question: Why is Beiqi's emperor is a female actress? Is it part of the story that they want to hide the fact that she's a woman? I think that must be the reason otherwise why make the lie that the little emperror is in love with lili? and in the 45th episode Duduo said that Lili is her sister? but Lili said to have a brother?

I think I will get the answers in s2 but I just couldn't help feeling curious lol

Unpopular opinion but I believe that Shen Zhong was the only loyal minister in this whole serie. Even though he was cunning and bloodthirsty but he did everything for the good of Beiqi. I must say that I felt bad for him.

I just get to know her through "I am nobody" and I am officially a fan!
I checked her upcoming dramas and she will play the main role alongside really famous current actors !

He's been in too many dramas, mostly hit ones and he's just 12 y.o! this kid has career better than many of the elder actors lol He can really act. He's a natural talent.

Whoever feels bad for Beom Seok or justifies his actions should go see a doctor asap. Trying to kill the person who's been nice to you because you're hypersensitive cz he didn't follow you back is a sickness. Nothing justifies what he did. NOTHING. My heart ached throughout the last 3 episodes nonstop as if I've been there.
I wonder if there is any need to be nice in this world when all you get back is harm. It scares me to know that there are people out there like this.

Finished it in one sitting. It was a good watch but full of plot holes. :/ That was unfortunate. I don't think there will be a 2nd season even though there must be. It's a "study group" but they never really got to study lol.

Ytb recommended it to me. Just from the title I could tell it was going to be an emotional story. I started it because I had nothing better to watch. And the fact that it has a time travel aspect, encouraged me more. I never expected to cry this much. I laughed a lot and cried more. And to know that this is based on a true story hurts more. 10/10
