I agree on what previous comments are saying about inconsistent writing. I read that it applied to the webtoon as well so I can't complain about storytelling. Nevertheless, I would have preferred a more in-depth exploration of Doona, Jinjoo, and Yira's past and the circumstances surrounding their initial encounter, rather than focusing on the romantic elements of the story. Such a shift in focus would have undoubtedly provided a more satisfying and coherent conclusion. If they wanted Doona and Wonjon's love story to be the main focus, the series should've been shorter and the ending satisfying

as a webtoon reader, I don't know how to feel about writers rewriting and deleting some scenes. I wished we would've gotten 16 episodes because of it. somehow they've dumbed down ji eum and do yoon. if you've read the webtoon, they were literal masterminds in there

honestly, I'm scared that it will be dragged out. we have the basic childhood friends trope, male lead chasing female lead trope, family being against their love (hinted through siblings interaction in 1st ep) which will cause a break up at some point trope

based on the episode 20 trailer, it seems that wei lun will die in a car accident. he even wrote a letter to you ran to say goodbye. after episode 18 he deserves nothing. it was so terrible to see him beating up man man for no reason even though I don't like her

I binge-watched the first 4 episodes. I'm still struggling to decide if I should continue or not. Out of all the characters I only like 4 and the spacing is a little off

is it just me or does romance feel out of place? it has nothing to do with the actors. i can feel that writers were forced to write this into a romance for more engagement. it even goes for love triangle's storyline which is even more odd. not to mention taht ayin has no backbone like every other chinese main characters, they could've cut half of the couple scenes out and I would've enjoyed it a lot more. the part which saves the drama is the mystery. hopefully, episodes 15 + 16 are good enough for me to continue watching
