I hate when you can tell that a series is heavily inspired by another one. As some people have already pointed out, this drama lacks depth in its writing, especially when it comes to character development. Certain plot holes even made me wonder whether the writers were hoping to get another season. Otherwise, I don't really understand some of their choices. On the other hand, the acting was fantastic. Almost everyone fit their role perfectly. In addition, the directing wasn't as over-the-top as it usually is in K-dramas, which was nice to see.
