I still prefer her with Zhang Zhe Han. You can feel the love she has with ZZH in LOYX and Blooms. With Joseph and JJY they look cute together but feels more like a friend vibe, the intimate scenes don’t do it for me and on top of that the drama is dragging. I almost had to drop but I like jjy and Joseph so I continue watching. At this point it’s a 6 for me. I just hope the ending is good.

Watched all 8 episodes so far it’s a light hearted historic drama. An 8 I would say. Joseph is a cutie and Ju Jing Yi is beautiful. I was hoping it’s a break out role for JJY but its like the others said FL is just a smarter version of Fu Rong from TBARP. ML and FL don’t have that amazing chemistry like JJY and ZZH but then I’ve seen all her dramas and so far its only with ZZH she has amazing on screen chemistry with. Hard not to compare to TBARP since most of the ladies from that are in this too including that prince and step mom from LOYX. Have to say the FL costumes are overboard, hair pieces is distracting and the make up is a bit much. But will continue to watch and hope it gets a bit more interesting as it goes.

Thank you so much! Ep 27 is my fav and I’ve rewatched it many times. This version is even better. I saw bts they were laughing like crazy in this scene but what’s produced is flawless acting. ZZH and GJ are amazing actors.

My favorite episode so far! Watching it raw and with my limited mandarin I can feel the love they have for one another.

ZZH is so underrated by some I’m very happy for him this role is propelling his career to the next level.

Totally agreed! ZZH’s acting skills in WOH is really on another level. While people praise GJ I find ZZS a much harder character to play. ZZH has to act out so much with barely any lines just with his eyes and facial expressions and he captures the viewer’s attention. Well deserved on all the popularity he’s receiving. I wish them both much more success in the future. Well written article btw.

Yeah I made the mistake of starting it while inpatiently waiting for new episodes of WOH. I can’t help but keep comparing. Will try again at a later date.

I’ve watched 13 episodes raw and I have to say each episode is getting better and better. My first BL drama and I’m hooked! I’ve tried Untamed several times not to say it wasn’t good but I just couldn’t get into it. GJ is good looking but ZZH is so handsome and when he smiles it’s melting.

What’s with the low ratings? My first BL drama and I’m really enjoying it so far.

The production team did acknowledged there was flaws. JJY in an interview said the script was written the way it was nothing she could do about it. They rushed the last 10 or so episodes, promoted the 2nd couple like crazy and edited the heck out of the main couple. Rumored was to be 48 episodes but they shorten it to 40 so there goes why some things don’t make sense. Its noticeable that scenes were cut. The writer did FL character wrong I have to say but overall the drama is a good watch.

Same. This drama had potential to be great but they edited so much of the main couple out and using their popularity to promote the second couple or the SNH girls. Second half I felt like I was watching a train wreck. I love ZZH and JJY I hope they get a third drama together where they just focus on these two.

Don’t think they will be airing this as a result of Yu Zheng’s plagiarism controversies several of his dramas are not authorized to broadcast. Sucks for us viewers and the actors.
