I want to watch this drama for the girls, but that male lead and those expressions are... sigh. I've seen many actors with facial paralysis acting skills but those perpetually raised eyebrows, I'm sorry but I'm laughing so hard. I'll give it a chance anyway for the girls.
The writer deserves an award for making the dress thing, so apparently trivial in the grand scheme of the plot, into something so glaringly whack that it ruined the impression of the entire drama. How do these scriptwriters get employed is beyond my comprehension.

Okay till now. It is engaging, faster plot than most xianxia, good special effects. I like Tan Jianci best amongst the boys. This harem genre is not something I like though, wish it was only one ML.

Interesting concept in the beginning then became the usual run of the mill idol romance. Extremely annoying and shallow side characters. I don't know what some of them think of themselves speaking to doctors that way, as if they're doing a favour by getting treatment. Most unlikeable character was probably San San, disrespectful and stupid, talking to a person 10 years her senior without having any context or judgement. Her counterpart was blah, I barely remember his storyline. The main storyline with Lin Zhixiao was okay mostly, except for annoying parts where she gets mad because Gu Wei tells her couples don't need to be stuck at the hip all the time and she feels insecure watching those shallow cringe secondary and third couple doing things like that.
I also think your father diagnosed with cancer is an incompatible topic for romcom/shallow idol romance. They could have made a solid serious drama over them sharing their troubles and traumas. Wish they had spent more time on Gu Wei's plotline, his traumas and his job. Could've used Xiao Zhan's talent instead of spending time on silly tropey love rival and annoying second couple storylines.

A drama with no payoff. FL is cold, traumatised or whatever from years of infidelity and toxic friendship with her husband and the other woman, never heals, remains cold, never shows much love towards the ML, no passion or intimacy in her eyes (maybe it's the actress). ML chases her, and keeps chasing her, and then chases some more until he's ready to accept whatever conditions she puts out for him in order to be her boyfriend. Career wise, FL starts with a successful career and ends with a successful career, ML starts from the bottom and remains somewhere there only. People may say it's realistic, but it's a story, and a story should have a build-up and a payoff or else what are we watching.
Positives: Xiao Zhan and Xiang Hanzi. Hope they can be paired in a future project.
