As a fan of the original, Iām frustratedāthey completely destroyed Only Friends and the iconic Boston. The writing was generic, stripping the hotness and charm. Itās such a shame because the drama had so much potential, with moments like Rome and Raffy, yet it ended up falling flat.
The titleāNo, Thank You!āis perfectly suited to the story. A portrayal of family dynamics centered around annoyingly overbearing in-laws. The in-laws, especially the mother, overshadow everyone else, including their own children, leaving the rest of the family struggling. The suffocating atmosphere created by these 2 dominant personalities and their unreasonable demands make the drama frustrating and exhausting. Rating: 5/10

In China, there are many different regional accents, so productions often use a more neutral standard accent and hire voice actors for dubbing. We do the same in Spanish, where there are differences between accents (or even words!) from Spain and Latin America.
