Here I was all excited waiting since episode 1 for Luke's performance, but what the heck was that???? Is it me or that was borderline mocking Japanese people? I know in some Japanese BLs they kind of do that....but still.

Same here, but if they write a nice story with a GL couple I'd watch it. I've never watched a GL drama because their stories do not interest me....these 2 are not helping! I have my eyes on Uranus 2324 which has potential to be my first GL.
The way ppl act towards any GL couple has to be studied...
To me isn't the fact that they are women or men. It's about the crappy story for this GL couple (so far). If you put 2 men with this crappy story I'd have said the same thing.
