If you are talking about the episode where they went to the hotel- the 3 of them just fell asleep. The one day they planned to be together to have their first passion moment, they fell asleep. To me they are just roommates!
Remember that time they went to the Love Hotel and Shinpei brought all the toys? What did they do with the rubber…
They did nothing with it or with any of the toys because the 3 of them fell asleep- no attraction, no chemistry and definitely no passion between these 3. Just like any roommates!

We used to call this just 'roommates'. Three people with no attraction or passion just sharing a house, rent and chores. I didn't see any passion between these 3- maybe 1 oz between Shinpei and Takuzo with that one 'thing' they had but we are not even sure if it actually happened.
