I did see sweet love between Cir and Phu. Cir supported Phu, who was mourning the loss of his dad, talked to his cousin saying he would be there as long as he could, saved Phu's life by sacrificing himself and lastly hey had a sweet romantic moment (not in that order).

It's funny how episode 7 was all about sweet love for both couples until the preview for episode 8 showed up, then confusion created chaos!

I blame it to all those BLs I've watched where they pulled off crazy stuff out of nowhere. 🤭

I don't think he's pretending to have amnesia. In the preview you can see there's another Cir wearing black and this Cir is locked up in a mental institution wearing white.
