I have a question. When they are sitting at the table wearing those cute animal costumes, in reality they are connected virtually, right? ...not in person, Those costumes represent their usernames like deer, white leopard, panda, chipmunk and fox, right? I'm confused with this part.

10/10 from me. It gives you an idea of what happens behind the scenes in the BL business. They could have stretched a little bit more the intense and insane fan service that BL actors have to endure. The actor that portrayed Aoey did a fenomenal job, he deserves more dramas. The director also did a great job.
