I think somebody who has't watched the Japanese versions for both could appreciate it more. But for us ...yep! Japanese.

In my case I dropped Cherry Magic Thai version, just couldn't continue.

Each country has their style. To me, when I want to watch an "inner monologue/ innocent/cute" BL I look for Japanese. If I'm looking for sexy/action/funny/silly balance that's Thailand. If I'm looking for strong stories that would make me cry that's Taiwan.

To me it made me realize that Japan did it better in both of these.

I love these 2 too! People complain about the most silly things such as the 'khun dad' nickname. Seriously!
