Maybe they make it especially obvious and then slowly turn down the suspicions during the rest of the episodes just to make him the actual killer in the end when nobody thought of him anymore. Who knows

Oh and yeah, even if a bird strikes an airplane with the very unlikely case of total engine failing, the plane does not drop to earth like a stone.

Its not impossible (chances of 0% doesnt exist in this world). Actually bird strikes are one of the most comment incidents during landing and take-off but the systems (eg the engines) are designed with the possibilityof bird strike in mind and designed to not cause catastrophic failures in case.
There are certification requirements for bird strikes in state for all engines to be tested for before using (you can actually look those up on EASA or FAA regulations website). There are videos on youtube showing those tests. (I have once seen throwing a frozen pig into an engine and it continued going totally fine).

So. Well. Birds striking and damaging an airplane happens. damaging it? Yes. Causing a fatal crash? Very very very unlikely and unlucky.

What part do you mean lol? there was a lot going on, but no matter what the actual failure is, fixing it by fixing the electrical system is very unlikely. Fixing said system itself (which usually contains several km of cable all over the plane and is connected to several software- and hardware components) by sticking a few things together is even unlikier(?) than all the bs before.

I have. I am just joking around, i am not really offended by the plane thingy, its just always the most unrealistic thing that would happen to an airplane and that makes me cringe a little. But its a drama, i get it ;)
