Yeah, you're right about that (the Drama shows how the justice system is messed up tho) but morally she aint any better. Specially with her behaviour afterwards it's also messed up, just in a different way. So i dont feel you can say it's not equal because there is no base you can compare them on

Just saying I can understand both Soo Hyun and Seon Hyul (personally I am a little more on Soo Hyuns side), but none of both their actions is justifiable. I think it's an interesting drama, all its characters are very grayish

I think they're both right and wrong in their own ways. I guess there's is a reason we don't do an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth anymore, it just accumulates into extremes. I am curious how the story evolves

Honestly, this is a very cruel drama. She lost her son and got Revenge, didn't care about his family or collateral damage. Now he's getting revenge for his family. What does she think? It should be his right by her own logic or did she think she's the only one who 'is allowed' to have it? I feel very sorry for both of them, specially if it turns out it was all the politicians doing in the end.

Questioning the 'being of legal age' is understandable when someone is 18yo (or that range) but folks mid to end twenties are mentally mature enough

Yeah but it didnt really deliver in the series, it IS similar, but the bad side is toned down, the balance of the dad is somehow off and it doesnt make sense anymore like that.

I also agree, it was presented a lot better in the novel. I dont understand why they did not adopt it in the same way for the series
