On Eun Yu character growth: annoying to reasonableReason why she become annoying Due to that (time machine) music…
I love how she said sorry after getting an explanation from Eun gyeol......when they found out they were both time travellers.......that was growth and development( all along all it had to take was them finding out they were time travellers talking things out clearing the misunderstandings understanding eachother's goals and so on.....
In episode one, Eun yu's grandpa/ Segeongs dad who is also Eun gyeols mentor since he taught him the guitar gave young Eun gyeol a cassette and he said that it had a song that was written by an unknown artist ( which must have been Yi Chan )that no one knew and that the song wasn't complete and so he asked Eun gyeol to listen to it and help him finish it....as an assignment and in exchange he was going to be awarded one of his favourite guitars ( The same guitar he sold to the mysterious shop but that's not the case right now)
In the episode fifteen preview we see Yi Chan giving Eun yu's grandpa a cassette and asking him to listen to it since they need affirmation from some one who knows music and I think that's the song Yi Chan wrote with the bandmates and Eun gyeol....now where Iam I getting with this ...
This change alone kinda gives hope to the fact that the past is changing...in the actual 1995 timeline Yi Chan must have been writing that song and hence due to his accident he didn't get to finish it....but this time round he managed to write the song together with his son and finished it and so this can also be applied to his accident....yes it hasn't happened and will probably want to happen but he could be saved this time.......as a consequence of the past that has already been changed from the moment Eun gyeol went to 1995 to now.
What Iam trying to say is that what is meant to happen in the past is bound to happen since the past is already written but because of the changes caused by Eun gyeol's appearance things might not happen as they did in the original time line .
Though this kind of worries me of some one might get hurt in his stead?
I think before judging characters's action/reaction/behavior, we ,viewers, need to keep it in mind that the characters…
Every character in this series had their charm which made me feel connected to each one of them in addition to understanding them....they had their flaws and I learnt to accept those and hope for their growth as the series went on..... because each one of them contributed to the beauty of the series....
Each one of their reactions and decisions along the way we're logical and pretty much natural
Most endings in K dramas are ruined because writers are trying so hard to be unique and dramatic and overly creative....but for this I hope we solve the issues at hand and get a beautiful and we'll thought out ending that reflects the entire series at large..
This is not Worth 9.0Enjoyable drama is not equal to quality.
We all define quality differently so if your needs haven't been met then it doesn't mean the same for everyone so I'll just take this as your personal opinion and wish you find a “ Quality ” drama soon
Girl just got off an island where she has been trapped for 15 years only to face the reality of the fact that people believe she can't be a singer at her age....in addition to being a ghost singer I mean for her idol but it's still not a good thing, and on top of that is her wondering why her childhood friend isn't getting into contact with her and all that in addition to coping with the changed world I almost forgot that she is also now a target to her friends psychopath father... and all people are worrying about is who she ends up with romantically 😂
But aside from all of this I appreciate how her character was written.....and how she is Lively and strong willed despite it all
I think some people are being a little too hard on these characters( all of them well mostly the three) ....Iam sorry but if anything I love how imperfect they are written...they have their own thoughts, desires, struggles, they make mistakes, wrong decisions they pretty much mess up they are pretty much human.....they are 18 year olds each trying to venture through life in a way they find fit.....they aren't going to do things that only make the viewers happy...so the nit picking and the calling them annoying just because they made a mistake or acted recklessly just doesn't cut it...if anything I would love to see each one of them develop through those mistakes......each character has their flaw and charm that adds to the beauty of the series.....
it's not even forced. it's obvious these people complaining here have never heard of slow burn/enemies to lovers…
I know they are in the bickering stage....they annoy eachother they can't even stand each other...only that they also at times are affected by eachother's words or actions...I guess their bickering stage is too cute these guys are already calling romance😭🤣
Eun gyeol and Eun yu being connected in one way or another is something that was highlighted in episode two of the series..the part where Younger Eun gyeol is seen out side the Viva music store crying for the owner who had died and right then they show us Choi sekyung and her daughter Eun yu who make their way past him while young Eun yu looks back at him....( it's pretty much the classic childhood troupe except that these two didn't interact enough) so if that wasn't a hint enough then I don't know what is.....it's not forced it has always been the case from the beginning....

Who finds her annoying she is bundle of joy I love her chaotic interactions with Yi Chan they give off more like besties vibes I think considering the fact that their characters are similar they are both chaotic and I love her banter and bickering with Eun gyeol plus they have chemistry I just love seeing them together whether they do get in a relationship or not...I just want them to interact.....

It's not that we are watching a different drama it's simply that we are viewing the drama in different perspectives and opinions.....you feel the rating is high some feel like it's low....at the end of it all we all have different opinions....it's actually that simple
The drama has four main characters, in episode one and two we were given the backstory of Ha Eun gyeol our first male lead....in episode 3 and four we got Introduced to the other main characters that is Ha Yi Chan ( Eun gyeols dad) and Cheong ah ( His mom) all four episodes were pretty much an introduction to me....the sekyung we got to see in these episodes was never the main character....the main character was her daughter On Eun yu who we got a glimpse of in episode five and six but that was before we got her back story in episode 7 and a proper Introduction to her character.
Eun gyeol is a boy who travels back into time and wants to make his dad's life twinkle by helping him do everything he wishes to do, he also wants his mom to learn sign Language in order for her to communicate and express her self better. His other purpose he believes is to make sure no one gets in between his parents falling in love and we have seen as to what length he could go to make that happen.
Ha Yi Chan is simply his teenage dad who for now is obsessed with a girl he has a huge crush on..his life technically revolves around making that work out...except that his character has a mystery attached to it ( why he went deaf)
Cheong ah is also his teenage mom version she is this girl who feels insecure about her self, because of her horrible family she is trapped in this box that her son is slowly opening up for her...she has a huge crush on this boy she believes makes her smile...she wants to interact with him but also has to worry about the fact that he likes some one else and she also feels insecure about her self.
Yi Chan and Cheong ah are important characters because they are important to our main lead, they are his parents they are the people he wants to protect...but other than that there characters purposes are pretty much simple.
On Eun yu the mysterious girl who appeared out of nowhere a character that's trying to fit into this already built up story..she starts off as an obstacle for our male lead since she seems like a threat towards his parents relationship and has now become a weapon towards him getting his parents together ( in a way that he fakes this love for her making his dad give up)
What is her purpose in the story...that is yet to be revealed for now her purpose seems to be all over the place she wants to find her mom's first love, she wants to kill her self and now is stuck in this wierd love triangle between son and dad...but I don't think it's a simple as this...her being a main female lead could mean that she has something more to contribute to the plot and since we have just been Introduced to her character..her purpose is something to be introduced with time.....as the story goes on......
All these characters have their places in the story, their purposes they all have importance....the sooner you start viewing it that way the better experience you will get watching the drama because i believe it just is going to keep on getting interesting....
