hi a year later, did you watch any of them ? I'm Abzzski I changed my username
I have. Watched Bloody Romance, Ashes of Love, Eternal Love, The Legends and The Eternal Love S1&2. I loved them! I think Bloody Romance or the Legends were probably my favourites. Also plan to watch the other ones. Thank you so much for the recommendations!

Even I had noticed this unconsciously and it wasn't until i started reflecting on why the audience focused on…
I could not agree more! I would really like dramas where by the end the FL hasn't become passive, given up her dreams or the ML 'saves' her in some way. I get that to some the Cinderella trope is still appealing but I bit more equality would be nice or else we are perpetuating these stereotypes.

Really interesting article! You’re right in that I knew a lot of this at least unconsciously but it was really interesting seeing data and examples.

I do wonder if part of the gender imbalance is to do with the target audience? As often this is females, having a powerful, successful and nice ML seems more appealing to them? Very sad that so often the FL gives up on her dream though.

Wasn't a huge fan of the original but loved both remakes Full House and Kiss Me. So I really hope this will be just as good!
