I was struck by how Yong Jie says, in the final episode, that his real personality disappeared a long time ago.…
Yes, those are my exact thoughts. He definitely is portrayed as a person with depression. And I wonder if that's all in this. He is antisocial, cold/aggressive to others... Nonetheless he is still my favourite character, along with Xingsi. I'm happy that someone is thinking as I am.
Totally agree with you? nobody is perfect ? I enjoyed the series aswell, my favorite character was fu yongjie…
So proud of him xD they can hate him all they want but it just shows that they weren't able to understand this series and I almost feel sorry for them for "wasting their time" on it

Those people have wrote him off already so I'm trying to not argue with them anymore but sometimes I just can't. I feel as if he is one of the deeper explored characters in the series, maybe because we could've seen his change after Xingsi accepted him. Quite real one, because no-one and nothing is black or white in this world. People change, people have problems... So I really liked him :)
Judging from your standard, probably millions of people need to see a doctor.
I really loved your comment, as I'm a woman and also an author. I came out as Fujoshi to my closest friends, my boyfriend and my family. I'm not ashamed about it, I just don't think I neither need to hide it, neither show it to the whole world. They all accept who I am and I love them for it because that's how it should be. And as you said, I watch all the dramas for their stories, for those characters' love and all those kisses or anything more are simply an addition to the main plot. If I like it I watch it. If I think about something, I write it down. And I'm not ashamed to be Fujoshi. Because not all of us are so bad as people try to show us

This conversation was kind of important for all of us, haters or not. I do love Fu YongJie but I really felt touched by his recognition of his own mental state and the fact that he clearly informed Xingsi about it. Having his beloved by his side will definitely help him find his true self
Well, well, well... So here I am, with one of the best drama's I've seen finished and no clue what I should do with my life xD I was crazy about Yong-Xing CP and I will probably be for many weeks even if the series has ended. I'm crazy about morally complicated characters so YongJie was by favourite. I'm not going to write an essay why this couple is not bothering me and why I love it because it's useless, I just do. But in my opinion, popular or not, YongJie is quite pitiful person. He felt so lonely, so unloved untill Xingsi came into his life. I can't help but despise his mother. You think your son's actions and attitude are wrong? And you don't even try to talk with him? Understand him? As a mother, I just can't accept her. I like her attitude towards Xingsi, but I somehow feel that she neglected YongJie and it is infuriating to me.
I like Xingsi but I feel that his character would be even better if we could clearly see in which moment his feelings changed from brotherly love to romantic. I could feel the change but I'm a little sad it wasn't showed more visibly, like hmm... Him remembering all of Yongjie's affectionate words to him or some little gestures, something like that.
About Li Cheng and TengTeng... I do like this couple but I always feel that when one couple is the main one, at one moment I lose interest in it. They were sweet, had some great moments and after watching all those BTS and interviews I love all of those actors, but they won't really stay long in my memory, not as long as YongJie and Xingsi. Overall it was really a great series, definitely one of my favourites
I insist, being calm and trying to make a point with no harsh tone or word. In case... it is not my intent attack…
He wasn't dead drunk and there was more than consent from Xingsi, he was reacting for his touch and he was trying to imitate the kiss. Okay, Yongjie's intentions maybe an issue, I can give you that. As I said earlier it was manipulation. But rape? No consent? I have watched this scene so many times that I can recite every single word of theirs and not even once I've got an impression that it's rape
I hate the fan service more than I hate the fans, because they feed the beast, if you are not together just don't…
Oh god, I must say that I'm not really invested in the real lifes of actors from BL drama and, even though I like fanservice, I'm just a normal fan. But I knew it would come to this that some people won't be able to accept the fact that the actors may be simply friends and can have their own partners. I feel sorry for those actors. Maybe it is feeding the beast but that's also their job that they have included in their contracts
Everyone should ask themselves the simple question: if two consenting adults, gay or straight, who are not blood…
Woah! Such a wonderful approach to the matter! I'm proud of you, Ms or Mr stranger ? and yes, I agree, just because so many people can't stomach this kind of relationships it simply became a general view of the society, and when someone has a different opinion others become hateful. At least I'm happy that I'm not the only one with this kind of opinion :)
Finally someone on my side, I have been complaining about the crazy mom for last 4 or 5 eps, but none of you were…
Even as someone who likes the brothers couple, I can't help but agree. She is such a mess. She knew about everything but she hasn't said anything to the father, that's first. Then she hasn't done anything to stop YongJie but when they're together and the father knows it she is like "XingSi can be happy, but it doesn't mean that it have to be with YongJie". For me she is the most nonsensical character in this series
Sometimes I still can't believe how some is so against XS-YJ couple even until this point, when we are almost…
I'm laughing all the time when I see a comment that many people are skipping the brothers' scenes. Their weekly episodes might be a little bit short XD as for people's understanding, I wouldn't really count on it. People hate what they hate, others like what they like. I'm past the point of trying to argue with haters or trying to make them understand and I just enjoy all their hate, while re-watching Yong-Xing CP's scenes ?
Because Gao drug an hipotetically straight man to abuse him. Yong Jie onky give alcool to Xing Si and was bro…
Oh, yeah. And the beach scene. The expression of XingSi when YongJie was putting the sunscreen on him. And I'm not talking about the nipple touching. For me it looked like Xingsi kind of liked YongJie's touch, untill his consciousness catched up to him. All of his doubts, that this is his brother, that YongJie shouldn't touch him like that and THAT he shouldn't react to his touch this way
Everyone should ask themselves the simple question: if two consenting adults, gay or straight, who are not blood…
I definitely agree with you. XingSi was aware enough to know who is he with and what they're gonna do together and he hasn't said "no", not even once. If it would be rape he wouldn't ask YongJie "why won't you kiss me". I just think that he felt somehow attracted to him at that moment, but then he was simply shaked by the fact that he fulfilled his desires.
I didn't even know but I think it was a right thing to do. Their acting looked a little stiff and uncomfortable…
I'm not really hating them, because they are still very good actors and people simply have their expectations about season 2, so they just expect the best from it and from the actors. Anyway I still love them. I just wasn't aware that they needed to apologise because of people's hate, I thought that they could see their uncomfortableness(is it even a word? xD)
I haven't seen many people comment about the fact that both Mean and Plan apologised for their acting in this…
I didn't even know but I think it was a right thing to do. Their acting looked a little stiff and uncomfortable but I don't want to put all of the blame on them
