How many days did y'all take to finish the novel? 🤩
I would say a week in total, although I had to pause at Ch 140 bc I didn't have the complete translation. After I got the link for the cleared MTL version I needed about 3 days for the rest. ❤️

I only started YuWu so I can't tell you much, but you already can feel the angst coming up. Usually I'm not a fan of this kind of story either, but you should give it a trie. Recommendable are definitely all MXTX novels and I also like Sha Po Lang and Peerless Immortal surrounded by demonic disciples, Thousand Autumns and Nan Chan. Also Qiang Jin Jiu, even if it's not fully translated yet, and also you might like "Rebirth: Degenerate Slave Abuses Tyrant". I haven't started this one yet, but the synopsis gives a 2ha vibe, so I guess it's worth a trie. Also the ratings are quite good on NU :)
I don't know what you guys think, but all these obstacles with this production really give me a TGCF-vibe, like, if everything went perfectly right from the beginning, it would be kinda wrong 😅 What matters is, what will be at the end, no matter how difficult or unpleasant the path til there is ❤️
When did they change the title to Eternal Faith? As far as I know, it's still "Lucky Star" which does not fit…
I don‘t know exactly when, but „Eternal Faith“ is the English title, „Lucky Star“, if I‘m not wrong is the translation of the Chinese title. And yeah, EF is far more fitting ♥️
No matter what, San Lang is H O T and only from the pictures I'd say, ZLH delivers him. But let's just wait til it airs to really tell ... it already seems so long. ❤️
So, to everyone who hates the costumes - I believe everyone who is saying, that these aren't the official costumes and it's only for camera testing. A few reasons why:
First, the costume designer worked also for "A League of Noblemen", "Love and Redemption", "Rise of the Phoenixes" and some more. And the costumes in these shows are beautiful and definitely of higher quality. Can't believe, they will lower the standards of esthetic optic so much, especially not for a drama like "HOB"!
Second, the director is the same as in "The Untamed". Do I have to say more? lol
Third, iQiyi did film both "The Untamed"-movies - if you like them or not, it doesn't matter much, but the costumes in both are not bad.
And last but not least - you don't really need much brain to know, that the fans will ripp you apart, burn you and scatter your ashes if you mess "HOB" up this badly. Just sayin ...
Honestly, right now I'm like "it would be really cool, if this show would air sometime, but whatever, I'm not crying over it, gonna watch /read something else, there are so many good stories"
But the moment HYX actually will air I will get a heart attack and be like "AAAAAAAH IT'S REAL, IT'S REAL, I'M CRYING, I CAN'T, IT'S FINALLY HERE, AAAAAH!!!!"

I have literally the exact same fears! Once I read a post on twitter, which was about how a sad ending of tgcf could be, and since then I get panic attacks whenever I think of the LA doing something like that. Really, it stresses me out. My only hope is, that I want to believe that the producers and the whole stuff have to know, that if they mess this up, they should prepare their funerals, bc I'm pretty sure, fans will RIP them APART. I mean, the siege of Burial Mounds would be nothing compared. At least I keep telling this myself...
I'm curious - does the release of a donghua has an impact on the release of a drama, when both are from Tencent? If yes, then maybe we gonna get MDZS 3 first and SPL and HYX after it's finished. A good question. I guess, I have the same reasons as all the fellow people, who answered already. What I like also, is, that, in BL-genres you won't find the typical gender-roles. It's not like, the girl has to stand for herself to proof, that she can be strong and independent or stuff like that. BL-stories always give me the feeling, that both, MC and ML, are kinda equal, no matter their personalities and I like that a lot! I don't know, how to explain it better, sorry, my English really is not the best. >///<
