I agree - I like WoH even more than the novel and that's really really reeaaaally rare for me to say XD I finished the novel before the drama, so it was a pleasant surprise to me, the feels on screen have kinda more intensity than in the novel and the story lines are well developed, they even put some plot in the drama I actually missed in the novel, so yeah^^I really hope, the script writer does the novel justice, even if it's not the same. :)

I feel you, it's the same with me. Since I first started reading Danmei I'm not at all interested in usual bg stories. I can't even say why, just bl seems to be more interesting, more romantic, more everything XD You should give TYK a try, even though I have to say, that I love the drama more, there are a lot of scenes in the novel, I wouldn't want to miss ;) For her other novels, she has a ton of bl, some are completed, some are on-going and some will be adapted into dramas and/or donghuas coming this year or next year, like Of Mountains and Rivers, Mo Du and Lie Huo Jiao Chou (these are all bl). So there is a lot to look forward to :D

Reading the synopsis, I would say, it will differ a lot from the original story, but that doesn't mean, it has to be bad. As long they keep the core of the story and the actors can stay true to the original characters, I'm pretty sure, this one will be awesome :D We just need to see the novel and the drama as the two different things they are. Otherwise we would ruin it for ourselves ^^❤️

Yes, the novel is really really good! I just paused it, bc I try to finish the novel near the airing date of the drama - since I thought/hoped it would air in may. I'm a fast reader, so, I try to hold on until later before finishing it, so I still have something to enjoy even if the drama doesn't air yet. (Does this make sense? ^_^;) I liked Tian Ya Ke of Priest as well and I'm looking forward to read all her other novels ❤️

I've read somewhere, that it might be the heavy political plot, someone else said, it's the the steampunk theme, but I guess, we can't be for sure til the very end. As long, as they don't butcher the story and it will be good, let's just wait :)
I'm not a patient person and I really am excited for HYX to air, but I'm not losing my mind over this. Really, "Game of Thrones"-fans wait since 2011 for G. R. R. Martin to finish "The Winds of Winter" ... after so many Release Dates were set and years later, the book is still not finished ... and knowing, that after this there still need to be another book, before we will know the ending and all revelations of the story ....... at least "Immortality" has finished shooting, has been successfully through censorship and now it just needs to air. Knowing all this kinda calms my heart lmao

Since Mulan was (next to The Lion King) my most beloved movie since childhood I was so excited to see the LA - and from Disney as well, my hopes and expectations were so high, even though I always knew, it would be different than the animation. But after the first minute I already was like "WTF?!!", hoped it would get better, but ... no ...
So I really keep my expectations with 2ha so low as possible, but I just can't imagine this will flop. The staff, the actors and the source material are all very good, so, I can see this one being different but still great in it's own way. Now we only can wait for the day it will air XD
