I was so excited for this to air but I’m a little disappointed… I don’t like AHS’s character so far. idk…
I am giving the show a fair chance because I’ve absolutely loved the characters in Seoul Busters, and I hope these characters develop similarly; however, it is definitely a slow brew, considering it’s a shorter drama.

I cannot believe 21 people clicked on "Yes" to this review https://kisskh.at/profile/xantissa/review/424152…
I have actually reported it as untruthful and misleading, but nothing happened.

Some days they release 2 episodes and some days they release 1 episode. They are going to 1 episode for a few…
It was in the very same episode as the husband, one reinforced the other, in case we’d missed it the first time.

Regarding the SH and DYX arc, can someone explain why DYX decided to get married so early - meaning he hadn't…
I haven’t seen the last two episodes yet- but he was manipulated into the marriage- Madam Li wanted a good husband for the Third Daughter, and Chai An seemed out of the picture, and when Chai An made a comeback everything was too far gone not to marry ShouHua to him- and he wanted to marry KangNing because all of the ShouHua’s literary accomplishments were appropriated to KangNing. By then not marrying him at all would have hurt his position as well. Let’s remember he doesn't have the type of pedigree that he could fall back on. And he feels indebted to his Mother more than he finds her subservient due to his circumstances- and as much as he believed security comes from a position, so he worked hard to secure one, his Mother knew it came from being a part of a family, so she insisted to weave him (I’m proud of this pun with regard to his Mom :D) into one.

Another thing that strikes me with this show set during Song dynasty and that I notice now is : Perfect Match…
Not only that- they are all dead. It is patricide coded, the boys surely have a reason to fear their wives. (Joking, obviously, I hope)

I love the little detail that the first sister was so sincere she couldn't pretend to cry even when her husband asked her to aid their plan- surely a good way to secure his trust and gain his respect.

Yeah, most probably. And I think the drama is going to span a few years because in the trailer, we see 2nd sister's…
I assumed Qiongnu would be last because the son showing up would change too much of the family’s dynamics and would create extra plots, but a time-lapse will surely smooth it over.

Saw snippets of ep 12 and it seems so fun !!! I laugh a lil bit at Chai An and his wife scenes 😅. And yeah…
It made me a bit sad when Madam Li praised both Du and Chai and omitted him… he so wanted to be called a good son-in-law and be appreciated just a second before. I hope he gets to do something that gains him recognition and gratitude from the Li family.

Title Perfect Match Spoiler
Guys need your help. In Tiktok I saw copule of rendition of Chai An been dead and Kang Nin crying over his body,…
We don't know yet but there were already obvious traps in the previews, so I wouldn't worry it will happen- so far it seems rather lighthearted

Title Perfect Match Spoiler
Hi! Can someone explain to me please what is the big deal the 3rd husband wants to investigate about his wife?…
If I have seen correctly the embroidery on the handkerchief matches the one on the dress of a noble lady who saw Du triumphantly parade after the exam, so she has learned he has married a widow and is trying to sabotage the marriage by suggesting she had an affair- an intimate relationship out of wedlock, with the man who “accidentally run into” Du. It can't be immediately dismissed as Du wasn't her first partner.

lol as long as there is no body, he's definitely alive. also pretty sure Qiong Nu will marry him later on
Oh, I see, must have been a translation error/ mental shortcut- it implied how close she was to the late son, but they were children still, so they were expected to marry when they grow up.

Everyone who's enjoying the show, please remember to rate the individual episodes. It helps with the overall show…
how do you do that?

They were just childhood sweethearts but the brother was fond of her to the point KangNing regarded her as his fiancee.

So that her sisters can also marry? Daughters had to be married in succession, not at random, as they were not so much their own individual people, as women of the family, and they could differ in beauty or talent, but it was considered minuscule variables to the weight the family status held.

I wonder if they will show that Du's mother in the end gave in to switching the bride after finding out that Chai…
True, let’s see how it unravels. Would be very interesting if they introduced something into Du’s resume that he was hiding, that would actually put them on even footing status-wise. Madam Du was suspiciously quick to “accept” or “offer” (hard to say which it was actually) a marriage proposal- is she really this forthright? How did she raise such a cunning son, then?

Yes, but also first daughter is more calculating than the third daughter- she would be the first choice for Madam Du when it comes to housekeeping, she is very talented, so she will be able to admire Du’s accomplishments critically for what they are- as she already did during the contest. I think she is the only one capable of securing his actual respect and admiration. Such a wife is a great asset to a politician- she is like a perfect wife for a modern diplomat.
