Sir Do Ha's spirit should not have left after killing His Dad, instead of his existence being to protect her , put in a twist that because of her latast reincarnation and how they grew closer to each other it changed to longing or love ,something along that line. With That she becomes the tether for him in this world making him (the spirit ) and Jun Oh (the body ) become one.
That would be a much better ending.

True the Investigation merely highlighted what they didn't want to speak, their failing marriage and like you said there seemed to be lack of communication from both parties.And what made me think that Fl grew to like Ki Chul , look at when he asked Her if their time together was fake.she Hesitated for a brief moment before saying it does not matter, whether it's real or fake . and the whole being uncomfortable with Ki Chul , to me that was more of guilt. Ki Chul was her first love and like Drama's show us they leave a long lasting impression .
