Annoyed as well, but it will make for a great S**t-hit-the-fan moment when YD's secrets (that they aren't married yet and/or YD is planning on leaving) is revealed and Ji Myeong will be furious at YD's "hypocrisy."
w/r/t In Ok, we really don't know that much about her and certainly know nothing about TK's bio dad or the circumstances when she was pregnant. Her love for TK is unusually fierce. Probably me. I've been shipping them from the beginning because I enjoy love/hate relationships and redemption arcs. And now I've been doing a deep dive into the character descriptions, interviews, etc. They are End Game as well as the 1st Main Couple. But. . . .shhh - unpoular opinion on MDL. 😊

I'm not saying that it's not possible he was put in charge of the life insurance proceeds (even if he wasn't a beneficiary), but that's a stretch. in the real world, at any rate. I still haven't figured out the purpose of Uncle DS except that he is the one and only person that KNOWS that TK isn't the bio dad. Maybe he's meant for pharmacy lady. 😊

Good explanation as to how the writers have provided multiple reasons for why YD acts this way, but except the fact that her wishy-washy non-commit is a necessary requirement for a 50 episode drama, she has lost her charm (for me).

All of descriptions of this drama highlight/begin by stating that this is a war re: inheritance. There are two stories: (1) the romance and (ii) that battle for the empire (secondary: mystery involving ML's mom).
It's 16 episodes - stand-alone romance isn't enough to fill out that many hours.

Currently, we know very little about In Ok's backstory/history except that apparently, she was an unwed mother. Family - and the well-being of children - is EVERYTHING to her. Looking back, she has been close to hysterical when it came to TK and now Ji Myeong/Hyun Woo.
Perhaps we will soon get some answers on TK's father and/or what happened to her when she got pregnant with TK.
