Okay...I think I have reached unforeseen before levels of obsession...I'm watching BBS without subs now!π All the more easier to concentrate on the minute expressions....
Nanon/Pran's dimples should be credited in the cast list as a whole character by itself..lol...The number of times it's mentioned in the show, the number of romantic moments originated/developed/celebrated with them in the show makes me feel as if BBS wouldn't be the BBS it is now without those dimples...Not to forget, no AO3 story(without fail) is EVER complete without them and the effect they have on Pat!
I like how the director took his actor's facial feature and weaved it into the story so well that it feels like it is another central character!! He took full advantage of the resources he had in hand I tell you...π When I think about how this was a quirk solely invented by the show team as it wasn't in the novel I'm amazed at the level of creativity gone into it. But I also recognise that we wouldn't have gotten it if someone else had gotten to play Pran other that Nanon....Or would we have?
Now comes the million dollar question...Was the script written before casting Nanon or was it written based on Nanon?....hmmm...π
P. S - Just realised this has become an ode to Pran/Nanon's dimples!π
Anyone knows where I can watch the full version of this interview?
