I think it's safe to say I'm not the only one getting "secret crush" vibes from the Queen for our ML! She may turn out to be one of the obstacles in their path to HEA.

All this negative criticism against this drama takes me back to the "Legend of the Blue Sea" days. It was exactly the same then. There were some who were always trying to one up "Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok-Ju" over LOBS. They criticized every minute thing, from the acting to sets to cinematography and so on. I didn't care for any such nonsense then and thoroughly enjoyed the drama and it still remains one of my favourite dramas to date. I believe this drama will probably be the same.
I ain't gonna let go of a BWS rom-com that I waited years for, just because of some puritanical and biased views of certain someones. That's not to say this drama will be flawless. Nevertheless I believe I will enjoy it. Unless they kill off BWS again. All bets are off then!

I don't care about anything else, just happy that BWS is back with a new rom-com where he probably (hopefully) doesn't die in the end.

I agree completely. When the push came to shove, even when she knew ML wasn't at fault she still broke up and wasn't there for him despite promising him otherwise. If I was the ML, her hesitation and conflict and how she cut ties would have disheartened me thoroughly. This ML is quite a generous guy seeing how he even managed to forgive his "mom".

Nah. Finished it. FL redeemed herself well but rest of the characters not so much.

Just finished it. Mostly skimmed through post ep. 24. FL redeemed herself well in ep. 25 and 26 but I cannot get past her parents and his mom. FL's dad actually said "let bygones be bygones" AFTER the truth came out. Huh. I would have respected him if he said it before. Very convenient for him.

His mom is the character I hate the most in the drama. Even more than the Pei duo.

A kindred soul. Ep.24 essentially ruined it for me too. I also absolutely dislike his mom. Such a selfish woman. She chooses whoever benefits her more. ALWAYS!

I was really excited for the express release today but ep.24 left me utterly disappointed. It made me realise that the ML is surrounded by hypocritical people in his life. There was already his "Mother" who only thinks about her comfort over even her son but now we also have his future family which is equally abhorrent. It is nonsensical enough that they blame the child for his father's so called sins but his future MIL went as far to imply the FL's father's accident was indirectly to ML! The absurdity! The ridiculousness! I would have still tolerated it if the FL stood by him right after the expose but she disappointed me too by leaving the ML all alone during his lowest period. Atp I just want the ML to get away from all these toxic people and start anew somewhere far away. With this mindset I don't think I can watch any further episodes in near future. May be I will wait for sometime before trying to continue it if possible.

ML is supposed to be almost 30 years old and in his first relationship after YEARS of pining for her. Yes, I expected a little more passion!

Ngl I was bored today. I think I will wait until this finishes airing and then watch. Never thought I would say this right after they started dating though.

Now that our leads are together, I'm just waiting for the snake mother and daughter to get their retribution.

I just realised that somehow I end up liking the winter dramas more than the summer ones, both in K and C drama.

Okay, so I am with the majority here and love the ML-FL CP and romance. Just adorable 😍
BUT...I have also begun to feel pity for the SML when I realize just how much he will regret later on for missing out on his chances to set things right with the FL by assuming she's taken(That's actually pretty decent of him though). It seems like fate is giving him chances without giving him the context and he's mucking it up rather fantastically.😅So close...yet, so far. Hope he too can truly let go of the past without any regrets and get a new beginning.

From what I see around I think JianLi fandom is a myth. There are only disguised Li Pei En fans.
