How did I not know one of my favourite manhua was going to have a drama adaptation?! I hope the drama adaptation does justice to the wonderful manhua....
I began watching this drama expecting it to be a feel good, coming of age drama. But I realised that this one has more of a melancholy theme rather than feel good slice of life. There is a certain sad track always going on, be it with the the friends or the family. There's almost no episode in which the main leads were really happy, without something hanging over their heads for sure.
23 episodes in and yet to see any romance. Song Cong is supposedly in a relationship but he looks anything but excited by it. Guy looks like he was made to agree at gun point. I just hope once CHE and JXC confess to each other we will get at least a couple of happy episodes. But the way the drama is going, they're gonna be happy for 5 minutes before someone else lands in the hospital!
Just dropping by here because I miss the best ever made chinese drama! This drama is a benchmark I now compare other dramas with and sadly nothing has met the standards set by WIFTY yet.
Counting down for the final episode. Just hope for Hagiwara and Sei get their happy ending. . . . . . And Fujisawa needs to die a slow torturous death.
Other than Huan ER, I don't like any other supporting female character in the show till now. I find Qi qi too toxic, Xinyan too irritating and Du Man I simply don't like because she's too non-descript and has no presence yet. Song Cong deserves someone better. Hope in the university arc they get some other female character as his final CP.
