The break up was real in the novel. But it didn't lessen their love any and when they were reunited I felt so much joy....Yeah I guess that intensity was missing here...
I have a controversial question to ask and perhaps a lot of people might hate me for asking this or might think…
I just wrote a whole darn post about things in the novel that should have been included in the show a few comments back...đ I love this show to death...But one thing I am really sad about is the show was too short. It should have at least had a few more episodes. Because I think the content we got was no cheap stuff but more time would have made it even more classic(It is already a cult no doubt about that)...Most viewers had a beef about how episode 6-9 were sorta wasted on fluff while we could have gotten more substance. I agree that the plot didn't progress much, I also didn't like how they digressed from a fiery and passionate kiss filled with longing in ep 5 to completely nil overnight. But I don't think those episodes were a loss. We need fluff like that where the actors chemistry blazes through even the minutest interactions...But if we had more episodes it could have given the director more time to include the angst which was in the novel and reach newer heights. Also I think it was a loss because he had Ohm and Nanon, 2 powerhouses. They would have pulled that and wrung us dry after squeezing our hearts.
As a viewer who had read the novel before the show I wanted to post on the things I wish the director had included in the show and some things I was so glad he excludedâŠlol First of all Iâm genuinely happy with the final product PâAof presented to us. It has made my days fill with sunshine for these past 3 months. Even the slow week long waits were worth it.
But there are a few scenes from the novel I really wished were included in the show. 1) The scene where Pat has to go home after their exams and Pran feels lonely in his dorm without him. Damn! I wish they had included that sceneâŠI remember having so many feels during that chapter while reading the book⊠2) Patâs excessive possessiveness when it comes to Pran even before he realised his feelings. I know to some extent the fight scene in episode 5 made up for it. Considering how bloody brilliant Ohm was in that scene we would have been up for a treat if some more scenes were included. He did put Wai in the hospital in the book after knocking him outâŠlol 3) Overall development of PatPran relationship in the book was gradual but so freaking awesome. Even though it started with a forced kiss from Pat he regretted it and they started slowly from hand holding to finally going all the way. They did not digress at any point. There was no going back from full on passionate relationship to plain handholding or platonic kisses again. This is one area where I feel the show was a little weak. Especially after the time skip. For a couple who had been in a long term relationship for almost 5 years they were more playful than passionate. Itâs not bad per se but I did expect more passion:) 3) The angst in the book was just so good. I especially wanted the scene during their separation when Pat talks to Pranâs dad about his feelings. Let me tell you it was a freaking crime PâAof didnât include that one. Patâs love for Pran shined there. 4) Pat the âgay kingâs many awesome dialogues. He pulled no punchesâŠHe was the ultimate there with so much clarity in his thoughts and he wasnât afraid to voice them!
Okaaaay on hand I remember these now. Let me post more as I remember them. Or if any of you have a scene from novel that you wish was included in the show?

As this amazing show is now officially over, considering itâs popularity, I was thinking over who benefited most among the cast & crew⊠IMO I think it was Nanon. This is just my opinion thoughâŠI have watched plenty of thai shows both straight and BL till date. So even if I hadnât watched Ohmâs solo show yet I had watched the Book-Frame parts on YT and knew who he was at least and had a soft corner for him. But trust me when I say I didnât know who Nanon was or even hadnât registered his name. Part of the reason being I donât watch a lot of high school setting shows. But now he is my most favourite Thai actor, standing even above Ohm for whom I actually started watching this show in the first place!
When I watched the first episode I was like âOh, this guyâs gooooodâ⊠In the second episode in the scene where Pran realises the Pat was the one who wrote those notes is when I totally fellâŠ.His expressions were soooo amazing thereâŠAnd in the 4th episode he nailed that top spot in my heart for once n for all!<3
Also when I realised that this guy can actually act, sing, rap, play guitar so beautifullyâŠA complete package. Darn! GMMTV left no stone unturned in promoting his musical talent in the showâŠLolâŠIâm sure they are considering him a very long term investment for them:) All in all, it is thanks to BBS that I discovered this amazing bundle of talent and I donât have any regrets. Even though I had doubts when the cast was announced now I canât imagine anyone else as Pran ever! Pran is Nanon, Nanon is Pran. Periodt!
Only upon 2nd watching noticed, that - when Pran flirtily said to Pat at the door âIâm delivering foodâ…
Probably due to the oodles of romance literature I have inhaled, I got the reference on the first watch itself...đđ I was like "oh, here comes the smexy talk..."...Lol
