How the heck are the ratings for this drama so high?! It was one of the stupidest and worst shows I have ever seen in C dramas! There is ONLY one saving grace of this drama and it's He Xin Liang/Ding Yuxi...
FL was a big let down. I don't mind the horrendous hair but she acts like a 5 year old child...What's with the "ah..ah..ah..ah" stutter she has every time she speaks..! So annoying...I was just hoping she shuts her mouth and let others speak normally....
I still bore with it well enough because of HXL, but I just couldn't watch after the FL gave some big relationship advice to her crush that "If you like someone, you should say it loudly and bravely"...The audacity, the hypocrisy of the woman!? Was I watching the same show till now, where she was making an a$$ of herself with her silent crush on the poor guy?!
I was praying desperately by now that HXL finds anyone, I mean ANYONE else in that school who is less toxic than the BFF duo...darn, they had to add another psycho to the mix! I was so out buddy!
Finally after skimming through eons worth of useless episodes finally as I arrive at the final episode, what do I see? Another load of horse crap!!!@$ That ending had no head, no tail...It was as if the creatives were making fun of viewers by playing "let's see how much BS they can take"!!Was it supposed to be a romance? I never realized when dumbo FL fell for HXL...Frankly since it wasn't ever shown!
Sorry for the rant, but I would like to say for the new viewers who are searching for reviews before watching the show not to be fooled by the high ratings like I did...I seriously don't know how it happened...They were probably watching some other show or fans of some actor/actress in that show. Go watch either ALSB or Wait, My Youth" which are infinitely better shows! I personally would not give more than 4 /10 stars for this and those were for the only saving grace of this show He Xin Liang...He so deserved better!

IKR?! I was majorly disappointed at the FL too.. She was amazing all through but finally where it counted ended becoming a dumbo who led herself by her emotions! Let's just forget about how they butchered SHN s character..He goes from being a smart guy to making bad to worse decisions!
It's a happy but stupid ending if you go by the Netflix version...I didn't like the ending personally. But if you take it as a "love above all" I guess you can call it a very happy ending. P.S - ML and FL are together in the end if that's what you wanted to know:)

It's a happy ending but in the end Sheng Huainan gives up his chance to study abroad to stay with her all in the name of love...I personally think that is a very stupid decision! Given how smart SHN was in the show he should have achieved something...but as it ends SHN has had his degree revoked, is doing menial jobs while his less smarter friends have finished university and if that's not enough in the end he even gives up his chance to start anew....Bloody stupid if you ask me! Love alone won't fill your tummy or give you a comfortable life...He only had to study for 4 years, they could have maintained a long distance relationship...
RIGHT??? He’s literally ALL over the place!! I loved him in GGS as well as Solo but I’m not so sure anymore.
While you watched GGS as you waited for this weeks episodes, I rewatched ALSB to get my HYT fix. After ALSB, I feel this is the only drama where I see how amazingly dashing he is...:)
Will be disappointed if this doesn't become as popular as GGS. All 10 episodes so far are fantastic from OSTs,…
I personally am liking this equally, if not more than GGS 1. But some are having problems with the change in the cast I think(which I feel was necessary and worked well btw)...
TBH, I liked the Netflix version even though the ending irked me a little. Now I'm wondering if this version is worth watching even if it has HYT in it...? P. S - Can someone tell me if the Netflix ending followed the book? If so, I will drop the idea of watching this version too...
Does anyone else hate that nosy SP team member as much as I do? Such a busybody...He irritates me to no end. Why does he always keep appearing and throwing a wrench into Wu Bai's plans??
Me too! I knew from the previews that she is going to join SP but I still prayed so hard that she doesn't!
