7.4? Considering starting this series ,but is it that bad? 7.4 is pretty low for a Thai bl on here
I would rate it at 8-8.5 right now after 2 episodes. It's not bad at all. I liked how the main cast look like high schoolers. There's a Taiwanese drama airing right now which is pretty good but the cast definitely look too old to play high schoolers.
Wow! I just started watching this drama and came here to check out the forum only to see the warfare going on here. I liked the first 2 episodes. It has the standard thai high school BL vibe. I didn't even know one of the actors was not 18 yet until I landed here. Now that I do know, it hardly changes my opinion about the show. I'm not going to dislike a well made show just because of the actors ages(I might hate it later on if the quality deteriorates though). But as of now it's fine.
Since the actor is a minor I'm sure the producers have taken his parents/guardian's consent along with his to sign him for the role. Also Addicted Heroin is a remake and adapted from a novel. They surely knew the storyline and how hardcore the original material is(probably watered down here). I'm pretty sure they also knew who the co star is and what his age is. Also come on, there are no children in the main cast. Late teens, yes. But child, definitely no!
Finally caved in and binged 6 episodes. Was not disappointed. Now the painful waiting phase has once again become my curse ๐ญ
This is one of those rare adaptations where I like the live version far better than the book version. The book was frankly a little boring. I was wondering how they would make an interesting drama out of it and the results are praiseworthy. The main leads are sizzling onscreen with their ๐ฅ chemistry and the 2nd couple are equally dashing. Chef practically oozes Daddy energy in his encounters with Wan and we are all here for it.
Even though the 2nd couple have got great chemistry together, I still think Benz as Methas was a little miscast. He looks too soft for that ruthless businessman role. Honesty I smile everytime he comes on screen. It feels like a child playing grown up to me. Cute but that's probably not the effect they were going for. lol. Garfield as JJ is killing it though. There are still 2 episodes left anyway. Maybe they can pleasantly surprise me.๐
I watched till ep 2 on YT. Where can I watch from ep 3? Preferably streaming platforms(Netflix doesn't have it in my area). Websites irritate me with their constant pop ads...
Fortunately I didn't go by the ratings and watched this in one go. I don't really get why the ratings are so low. This was a very well made short series. There was so much packed in it that it doesn't feel short anyway. The leads were really good at their character especially Hanjoon. I didn't even know the other guy was an idol before mdl.๐ญ
I would definitely recommend it despite it suffering from the classic kbl curse of no or absolutely minimum skinship. 8.5/10.
I'm amazed at how they managed to make such an amazing love story without even a hint of passion! Also I wanted more of the second couple... Leaving their story open ended was the worst form of cruelty.
The plot is actually average but Miyata's character made this series extraordinary for me. I've never seen a character…
I agree wholeheartedly. I enjoyed Miyata's eye rolls and internal monologues so much that I could rewatch this drama just to see his sassy self! I also loved that he was sassy without being feminized. A brilliantly written character overall.
I still can't move on from Why R U, Sang Min was too cute in that ๐ญ๐ญ not planning to watch this
Just finished watching Why R U kbl and came here stalking the adorable Woo Sunwoo too!! I know exactly what you feel. I may have searched for his other dramas but for now it's too early to watch him with others...
Korean bl's have started to mainstream. This was a damn good one. The starcast especially the 2 main leads suited their role to a T. The acting was top-notch. I wonder how was it possible that despite the ML's having completely opposite characters(one an introvert the other almost a school thug), I found them both equally adorable ๐
