Actually TiwPor are not well developed in the novel too. They just keep their dating a secret and the biggest drama in their story is literally when Gun comes to know. Nothing elaborate. The whole novel is 99% Tinn Gun. Tinn in the novel realizes he is in love midway into the novel and chases after Gun. Gun only accepts him towards the end of the novel(Book 1). The show in my opinion is doing a better job than the novel:)
