The article is not wrong - they all (Wei Ying included) refer to it as 3000 people present, he just says he didn’t KILL 3000 people as the sect leader were there and they and others survived. So while you are partially correct, 3000 people were meant to be present in that scene narrative wise. You can even watch Wei Ying warn them before the fight that he has killed 5000 in the sun campaign so 3000 is nothing for him. That being said, it is completely fair for you not to like the article, i am sharing film critique rather than story critique and not everyone are gonna like or agree with it. Well, ideally they didn’t NEED the manpower, you can use the number of people they have to create an affect of 3000 people. That being said, The Untamed most likely could not have done that due to some other budget constraints (such as filming the scene from multiple angles at once, limited time on the set, etc) so this is definitely more a convo of ideals rather than necessarily possibility. And similarly, I also really loved it, I just couldn’t turn that part of my brain off while watching bc of my degree >_<

I would never recommend The Untamed to a complete beginner - the first few episodes are way too confusing and all over the place, I feel like it will turn people off haha

I haven’t watched many of those but maybe try Erased? It’s a fantastic series and has fantasy elements. The movie series of Kenshin is not * technically * a fantasy but it kind of is and it’s also great.

Anyways, I would never partake in such a service either way because I’m not that type of person haha

Yes, I think a lot of cdramas fail to fins the balance and stretch things out too much. In this regard Jdramas do really well--although I wish some of them just continue forever haha
