Yeah, I felt weird about that, too. Good point. Not very educational or healthy to teach girls that a guy like that is going to change, or that it's her responsibility to fix a violent guy who has problems. I did continue watching just because I enjoyed Dylan Wang and Shen Yue so much.

I didn't know this story or manga at all so this is my first experience with Meteor Garden and I loved it! Dao Ming Si and Shancai are so much fun to watch and so cute. I thought the acting was great and I wish them all well.
