I recommend "Hello Stranger" (Philippines) by Black Sheep. It is available on YouTube. It has the same vibe as "Gaya Sa Pelikula". Nuanced acting, No overly dramatic story Arcs. And the BEST thing abount Hello Stranger & Gaya Sa Pelikula is that there is NO OVERUSE of the PANDEMIC story arc to make the Series interesting, also They BOTH have SUPERB ACTING not unkike the "other" that is Sooo OVER THE TOP. Also, there is NO USE of the JEALOUS BF STORY ARC, not unlike the "other" BL series that used it TWICE within the course of the series

Well... Filipinos in General are REALLY GOOD English Speakers. I dont know if you are Filipino or what but the Philippines is VERY Westernized/Americanized, that explains the over use of English/English catphrases (with or without accent).
What 'Judit' and 'Santi' did was a NECESSARY but PAINFUL thing to happen. Yes, WE should be living OUR own Truths... BUT we shouldn't be living in our OWN bubble. REALITY will always HIT you when you thought everything is Okay, it depends on YOU how you will respond to it. Kudos to this MASTERPIECE! Calling GSP the "BEST Filipino BL Series" would be an UNDERSTATEMENT. The issues tackled on Ep 6 are not just of the LGBTQ+'s but of everyone's. From Karl living his Parents' dream for his dead brother to Vlad's problematic childhood, this series is a MASTERPIECE! Its poignant without being OVERLY DRAMATIC. The actors are doing a GREAT JOB!

Oh no, the Toxic GB fans will attact you because of that. They cannot accept that GB is just a so-so BL series. Hello Stranger and Gaya sa Pelikula are WAY better than GB. That kiss with a Plastic Sheet is just cringey. The recycled jealous-boyfriend arc in episodes 11-13 is just plain lazy, they just want to extend the series for the sake of extending it. And overly dramatic COVID-19 arc, its good that they incorporated it but they overdid it. The acting of the Main Leads are Over-The-Top. And Pearl is so annoying hehehe. Maybe Im just conservative, but kissing (or even doing it) on the first date feels insincere. You just met the person on your first date (even though you are talking on phone or throught the internet) and you gonna be that intimate with another person (that person is basically a STRANGER). I think when people do that on their first date, it feels like their on a one-night stand. TRUE LOVE takes time to flourish and develop. Just like in a song.... "ONLY FOOLS RUSH IN" hehehe
