So I've actually seen some of the cast! I've seen Dong Yoon in Solomon's Perjury, and he did really well! In that drama, he was supposed to be mysterious and cold, and did a really good job of making you suspect him, but trust him all the same. Really good performance (especially from a newbie) in that drama. I've also seen Seo Ji Hoon in two dramas (he's one of the supporting roles). And he is a very versatile actor (from what I've seen). He played a rapist in signal, and did almost too good of a job. He was also in Solomon's Perjury (which y'all should watch by the way), and played mr. cutie. He did emotional scenes really well, and I loved his acting and his character in that drama too. I haven't seen the other cast, but you can at least know that those two actors will be good!
I just hope they don't pull a 14days on me again....
oh my gosh, I laughed so hard at this comment. Which part, that main guy accidentally killed the girl or the open ending XD And is this drama good? I haven't seen it yet, and am wondering if it's worth the watch.
The only drama I've seen on this list is Pinocchio, and I can see where you're coming from (it's still in my top 3 though). But I've got to say, I'm surprised Boys Over Flowers didn't make the list. There's not chemistry and baaaad acting. And then there's abusive relationships, which is what Boys over Flowers is. He literally isolates her from the school, kicks out one of his friends for merely disagreeing, and somehow she still picks him..........probably one of my least favorite dramas...
How could he leave those poor babies? He should have stayed, especially since he got his voice back! :(
Sooo...my friend said that he was able to gather courage to golf again and begin his career, which is sort of nice.....Like if I think about it as the teacher's self discovery I feel a bit better, but I still think he should've stayed, tbh.
Basically, after the golf tournament he decides to leave the island. In the beginning, we see that he doesn't have the courage to play golf, and is denying himself a career. It would've been nice for him to stay. But A. I don't know if they were paying him.....or if he was volunteering and B. Even if they were, I like to think of it as he helped the students (particularly Byeong Joo) grow and become better people, and to know that there are adults on their side. The students helped him to become more selfless, and aware of the people around him. Unfortunately, they part, but both have impacted each other for life. Because of the love the students showed him, he was able to move on from the accident, and start his life again. I would prefer for him to stay, but not a complete waste if I think of it like that.

If he truly left just to play golf, that's awful. I don't understand how he can have Byeong Joo sobbing at him and yelling that he's just like the others and asking to know why he was nice to him, if he just planned on leaving, AND STILL GO! seriously?? I mean come on! Those kids love you, you love them, you got your voice back, THERE IS NO REASON TO LEAVE. I'm going to refrain from rating it though, until my friend who recommended this movie replies to my question on the ending. But if it's how we think it is, that's awful.

Is there a reason he left them? I mean you can clearly see he loved them, especially when he was writing his good bye on the board. He even had Byeong Joo come personally to him (like that kid never opens up), sobbing that he was just like the others and asking why he was nice to him (that totally broke my heart btw). And not just crying, like uncontrollably sobbing, to the point I'm surprised the subtitle team could translate it. Plus we see that he was depressed before coming to the island, but was truly happy there. I just can't understand why he would leave, and I feel like there's a reason that I missed.
Why did he leave the kids???????????????????????????? Am I missing something???
First how could you even THINK to leave them. Secondly, let's say that terrible thought crossed your mind, HOW COULD YOU LEAVE AFTER BYEONG JOO COMES SOBBING TO YOU SAYING THAT HE SHOULD'VE KNOWN THAT YOU WOULD LEAVE AND THAT YOU'RE JUST LIKE THE OTHERS AND ASKING WHY YOU WERE ALWAYS SO NICE TO HIM. I simply just don't understand. And I feel like there was a reason he left (cuz clearly he loved the children with all his heart), but WHAT was the reason?? Guys. Please tell me I'm missing something. Cuz if he just left without a reason, that's a little heartless.
So when the girlfriend was saying "if I was in your situation I would go crazy or commit suicide" Like was she trying to cause harm by that comment....? Or was she genuinely stating her respect....?
So this looks good, but I hesitate to watch it since it's in chinese. Don't they do voice overs...? Like does it sound good, or are the voice overs annoying? Do they take the emotion out of their voice??
Base on the comments, I think I'm heartless ... given the fact that I did not shed a single tear for this movie....…
haha relatable. I haven't seen this movie (I plan on watching it tonight tho), and I never cry during movies. Haha it's really awkward when i watch sad movies with my friends, cuz they all sob, lol.
So I rarely sympathize with killers, rarely. I basically take a Tunnel stance "you kill because you want to, you don't really have a reason" but hyeon soo ALMOST made me feel bad for him when he was thinking about that one girl, that he's always thinking about. This guy is a really good actor, and I'm extremely impressed with how he's portraying his character.
Just watched ep 28. Seriously? Are Eun Hyuk and Ji Hae gonna be a thing? He deserves better.
Right?? His character is one of the main reasons I'm watching the drama. I really want them to either repair his friendship with ji wook OR find a completely new set of friends. This guy is so lonely, and really needs someone to lean on (that's not yoo jung or ji hae). I'm starting to get annoyed with how they really don't throw his character anything
Also not blaming ji wook, more the writers for not giving eun hyuk anyone to lean on.

ugh. but she's so manipulative, emotionally. I wish he had his own bong hee, or just like someone that will be honest with him and he can be honest with that person. Someone to lean on ya know?

Yah....Jin goo keeps on being in roles where he dies awful deaths
seriously though that ending, the snow scene where he looks so relieved, i was like STOP DOING THIS TO MY HEART.
but other than that it was really light and funny.
until you realize that their mistakes lead to their death...and then all of the sudden its less funny.....
