Does anyone else get a bit of a I Hear Your Voice/Pinocchio vibe from this drama? I love those dramas so this…
Pinnochio and this drama both have the theme of truth. And that truth conquers all. Though they have different plot lines, they have very similar themes.

It would've been much better if they hadn't added the romance part to the story... It was really awkward and pointless…
Yah I agree...jian sorta creeps me out. She's so stalkerish

The thing is.. Soo Ah is the main character whether you like it or not. She's everything this drama is about and…
It's also mentioned through yeon doo's story how you can make your own choices and be happy even when all the adults hate you. I mean come on, seriously the whole school (and by that I mean those who run the school and who are influential power) is against yeon doo. The principal is ALWAYS trying to screw her over along with soo ah. And yet yeon doo is a great kid and manages to be happy and do the right thing. Let's not forget that yeon doo also gets pressure but decides to be good and follow her heart. Therefore outlining that eventually you decide who you are not the adults. Yes adults can effect choices and it is terrible how awful of an influence they can have, but ultimately you decide who you are not your parents or other adults

Thank you. I mean I don't want her to die and I hope she redeems herself..but I like my redemption to be realistic not random and out of character.

One one hand, Soo Ah didn't deserve to die, and I'm thankful that she didn't. It offers her the chance to make…
I get why they forgave her. Being pissed makes you miserable not them. And if it makes them miserable your still miserable. My problem is the forget. I believe in forgivness but not forgetting. If I got punched in the face sure I can forgive them, but i shouldn't forget the punch so I don't get hurt again. And forgiving doesn't mean your defensless. You can forgive but still defend yourself. I guess I see forgiving as recognizing that person who they are and there's nothing you can do about it. The only one you can control is you. But letting go all of her crimes and just being friends with her???? She tried to KILL someone!!! Trust needs to be built like BIG time. She literally screamed "I will kill you yeon doo" and chucked her down the stairs...I'm sorry but we shouldn't forget that. Yes I get that she needs support (she doesn't deserve to die) but being best friend status again will only end in tears. It shows soo ah that she can be a jerk and it's ok because whatever she does they're all still best friends. Soo ah needs punishment just as much as she needs counseling. I mean comeon, it's not anarchy...murder or even attempted murder is serious and should be taken care of. I mean I'm all for soo ah redeeming herself I just need it to be realistic ya know? I feel like if they extended it then it would be far more touching.

she created her own hell by betraying everybody. She could've had yeon doo and all of cheerleading group on her side for most of the drama if she was only nice. yes it sucks for her to be in such an environment but at some point YOU decide who you are not your mommy.

Yah I'm all for redemption and all but I need it to be realistic. Soo ah has always focused inwardly...i need action and time to believe she's new. yes i get that she doesn't deserve to die and she obviously needs help but she also needs punishment. I mean come on! You can't just let something go just because they cried enough! Do you think if a psycho serial killer cried at the jury case they would just tear up and say"alright you can go" NO. they would put his butt in jail. sorry...I just think that yes soo ah needs love but she also needs discipline and getting a 0 on her test isn't enough.

dear writer, DO NOT PUT DONG JAE WITH SOO AH. Like what the heck? Dong jae is kind, innocent, and pure. Soo ah…
Um actually yeon doo continued to support her until the end...so yes she did have somebody...and cheating in school and attempted murder on WAY different levels. The police have more important things to deal with than cheating. And a fight in school is also different. They hurt eachother but often not with the intent to kill. Kwon soo ah literally said "I will kill you yeon doo!" and chucked her down the stairs. Also I agree people can't always control who they like. But it doesn't mean they should act on it if it doesn't seem healthy. I mean it's the same as people can't control whether they're angry but they can control whether they punch someone in the face. I can think a drug dealer is cute or whatever but it doesn't mean I should seek out that relationship as it probably wouldn't be healthy. Also soo ah has always been free to do what she wants. I have a lot of asian friends and a lot of them are pressured to do well in school...yet somehow they manage to be amazing kids. Yes soo ah's case was extreme but eventually she was the one that chose to act like that. Bad environments don't excuse people. Yes I definetly agree she needs help but I do think that she needs to be punished and they should've spent a lot more time on her character developement. Sorry 3 episodes isn't going to make me forgive her. If they spent 6 or more episodes on her slowly progressing in the right direction then I would've liked it a whole lot more. This however feels forced and unrealistic.

Yeah, I've heard of that too. But I feel like that wanting to commit suicide doesn't redeem people. And I feel like they already highlighted that with ha joon. I feel like they're using her depression as an excuse for her terribleness, but it's not. I agree that they should forgive her but I don't think that means she should be excused from punishment. I mean when you're angry and spiteful it just eats at you and does you more harm than them. But I do think that she needs to go to jail. She literally tried to kill someone. That's just not excusable. I can forgive someone for committing a crime on my family but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't go to jail. If we just forget crimes and let criminals go loose it's anarchy. I think there's a need for justice--obviously there's a right and wrong way but there's still a need for it.

I get that forgiveness and mercy is important. But mercy cannot rob justice. If someone TRIES TO KILL SOMEBODY then they go to jail. Plain and simple. Soo ah is MEAN. There is no shaping of the environment going on. SHE is mean. If she was defined by her environment she wouldn't have used hajoon's depression. She had a friend who commited suicide she should've had pity for hajoon and let's say she's had a grudge against her friend for doing that then she should've AT LEAST had pity for yeol since she's been in his shoes. I think they should throw her butt in jail but I also think that she does need counseling and should be taken out of her current house (which is toxic). But I do think she needs punishment. I get that obviously she needs therapy and counseling but she also needs to be punished. No I do not wish for her to die, but I don't think a death wish automatically redeems people. If everyone was excused for their crimes because of a bad childhood then we would live in anarchy.

dear writer, DO NOT PUT DONG JAE WITH SOO AH. Like what the heck? Dong jae is kind, innocent, and pure. Soo ah…
She pushed someone down the stairs. Yes it is unfortunate that her mother is terrible. Yes it is unfortunate and sad that soo ah has made these choices. But just as their is a need for kindess in this world there's a need for justice. Soo ah (in my opinion) should go to jail. If I attempted to murder somebody, and was legally an adult, I would go to jail. Now I do think the girl needs serious help and needs counseling. But she also needs to be punished. We don't let murders on the loose just because of their rough childhood. At some point you make your own choices and your excuse of your environment doesn't matter. Soo ah has had plenty of people that care for her. Yeon doo and the teacher. What does she do? Repeatedly betray them. Dong jae is a nice boy. Soo ah is just plain old mean. In reality I don't think they would ever get together. Dong jae deserves someone who will love him and support him soo ah has never done that for him. In fact she's screwed him over too.

no i don't think this drama is that far-fetched, but I do think that dramas have a tendency to screw things up big time in the last 3 episodes. What I was thinking is obviously worst case scenario, but dramas have ended with worst case scenario before. (Like everythings happy someone just got married the bad guy is down...and then last couple minutes he comes back and kills the main guy) Personally I hope the ending is yeol and yeon doo end up together, somehow their parents break up (creepy), ha joon overcomes depression, the three boys help take soo ah down, soo ah goes to jail or something and she gets counseling and help, and dong jae doesn't end up with her at all. Those are my hopes.

dear writer, DO NOT PUT DONG JAE WITH SOO AH. Like what the heck? Dong jae is kind, innocent, and pure. Soo ah is evil, miserable, evil, psychotic, and the list goes on. Here's the thing. It's not realistic. like at all. And if soo ah gets a happy ending and yeol dies I will give this drama a 1 and not recommend to ANYBODY. Love can't fix psychoticness. Sorry that's the way it is. Before you get in an relationship with a potentionally evil person, or just a person with really bad habits. You need to FIRST see the change before you go into that relationship. If you just go in blindly then YOU get hurt not them. I want JUSTICE not redemption. Last 15 minutes of her being nice won't pull over with me. Last 3 episodes of her being nice won't pull over with me. I want justice! I want her to go into a mental institution or jail! I want her to be second place again. This girl needs to be stopped! She's dangerous. I am waaaaaaaaaaayyyy past the pity point so just don't even try to tug at my heartstrings as it will just tick me off. Please do not go the redemption last minute route. Those types of tihngs often make me rate the drama LOWER not higher.

In God's Gift I don't think he dies. I'm pretty sure he lives. Also when he was changing the story book for the girl I think that was symbolic of him changing his life. I think he would've died if he didn't shape up but since he improved and shaped up he lived.

They'll have to break it up anyway. The damage has been done. It's clear they have feelings for eachother and it would be SO awkward for your crush to be your step-brother. Whether they get together or not, the parents will still have to break up.

I don't think ha joon's way is healthy at all. But he's still a decent human being. Also ha joon had NO reason to go after her when she was going to commit suicide. She didn't care for him why should he care for her? Yet, he searched the hardest out of all the kids to go and find her. That shows a real strength of character. He is trying, yes he does cut and yes he does error. But he is making an effort. When he was on the rooftop he was about to jump off and end it but he decided not to. He's making small improvements. Soo ah doesn't even try and gets worse with each episode. Also she did have people who cared about her-yeon doo. Yet would did she do? Betray her on multiple instances. Soo ah is just mean to the core and yes her enviorment did help shape that she is the one who let her environment control her actions. We control how we react to things, we shouldn't let our situation control us.
