At first, I thought it was quite animated. Currently rewatching it and it seems better than the first time because I'm now mentally prepared.
But of course, I still think not everyone will enjoy the comedy or rewatch the first episode if they didn't like it the first time (which is sad because their chemistry and dynamics seem great in this one)
It's a total contrast in comparison to Not Me but I think this only shows OffGun's range in filmography, and I'm definitely going to continue the series.
Sigh... I want to say I liked this one wholeheartedly but I can't. The story is good, acting is amazing, I don't hate the chemistry, either. But there's something about how it's plotted that makes it so flat. It's like they plucked out several things we've seen before and awkwardly attached them together. Dialogue feels unnatural, too. Sometimes you know they're trying to make you feel this way but it doesn't ease in so naturally. It's not bad but it's not that great either. Shin Hye-sun's acting is still just as amazing, however, almost enough to forget about its shortcomings. But it could've been so much better in my opinion.
