This one is... Well, it's something. I'm trying so hard to not straight up call it bad. It's very lacking. Story doesn't pull me in, neither does the acting or chemistry between main leads. Poor development ruins the little plot it had going on. I also feel like they paired the wrong characters together.
What are some others you rec? I enjoyed it. It was very chill and a good laid back imo, but I'd like to know more…
A well rounded kbl from this year would be 'The Eighth Sense.' 'Our Dating Sim' is a good one with some of the best chemistry. 'Unintentional Love Story' has the better production quality among the rest, in my opinion. 'A Shoulder to Cry On' is also a decent mention. Those are the 2023 kbls I thought were likeable so far but it all depends on your personal preference.
Ah, yes. It's not a Korean series if it isn't promoting alcoholism! It's decent, just very bland when you compare it to the huge boost in quality from this year's kbls. Nothing really stands out and it's easily forgettable.
it was pretty funny but fantasy was tacky and difficult to take seriously. also suffered from inconsistency. i watched it for the fun, though and found it to be a decent watch.
I expected so much from this one, kinda disappointed me by a lot. The only saving grace is the actors. It's not really funny and the whole 'who stole the money?' thing was repetitive.
Episode 7 had me smiling at their awkward cuteness only for the angst to hit so quickly. Their budding relationship starting out so fragile really did not help. One who had a previous relationship based on lies and the other who unintentionally created a lie. I was rooting for Wonyoung but not telling him immediately that you intended to resign and going back to the same job is not exactly a great move. I do like that he's pretty persistent and honest about his feelings eventually.
I kinda wish the second couple had more screentime. Seems like we're stuck in the 'date me for a month' thing and unless they end up having their own series, It looks a bit difficult to get a fleshed out story from them.
OST is actually so good and I'm pretty impressed by the pacing so far. Can't wait for the last two episodes but I also feel sad that it's ending this soon.
I had fun following up with each episode and leaving comments on here. Kinda sad to see it end. Show was messy but it was good (Plot holes and average CG.) Acting helped alot. Both Nanon and Gun did a great job playing several characters. The last few minutes of episode 10 were also solid. I will wait for season 2.
