It's a work of fiction. Of course it wouldn't really happen like that. Of course in real life he would need extensive training or it would be irresponsible. It's just a cool movie about like "what if a regular guy (though athletically gifted) suddenly had the ability to save and change lives forever". Like do you also say something like harry potter is for idiots because wizards don't exist? People understand it's not realistic. It's just cool.
