The movie getting rave reviews outside china so dont worry when the time comes they can sell movie on another platform/countries and make more money. Even imdb, rotten tomatoes, have more fair judgment, doesnt influenced by black reviews like douban.

Its normal peoples being critical with something they dont like, not only here DC 1 have more people critical about its drama than here, and douban rating is the standar drama is popular or not in china not international cause all drama on mdl has good scores and we always tell people about it.
But it doesnt mean you have to blame on somebody elses cause everybody opinion here not only came from xz fans. You just make some excuses to somebody for blame when this drama is not popular in general public.

Its not only from xz fans, its not getting recognition by general public so its not help the rating. Look at the number people rating its only 4000, means its not popular by public, xz dramas has more enemys from another fans actors which peoples will scores 1 stars bcause he is in it but his dramas always well known by public so they also help uplift the rating.

Its failed cause zhao yiran can't carry drama and plot its similar to donghua so they been compared so harsly. ZYR vs XZ. Dc2 vs Soul land. And unfortunately his fandoms is not big as xz and his acting doesn't help him and the drama getting recognition from gp.
