give him some time. he's gonna say it. and tbh.. if he just said that in the first time, i wouldn't believe it. he longed/hated him for 6 yrs. when he know he was back, it still hurt him. there's no hate without love. at that point he hated him still. as others said, he said he don't love him anymore, and his heart completely belong to wsw now. but its after the break up. but it all ends well. don't give up yet. the rest is so beautiful.
