So wrong yet you state that I’m entitled to my opinion? You know you can just disagree right? That’s why it’s an opinion not a fact (which because of issues like this I stated over and over again).
For me to enjoy or get into a character I have to feel it. I don’t have to agree with it or it’s actions but I have to feel like it’s an actual person. The character Theo isn’t connecting. How in heaven’s good name is that a theoretical textbook argument? I cannot force myself to feel what I’m not feeling so please do not tell me that I’m wrong. Akk cuts across more. In no part of my statement did I say that it was because he’s a better actor. I remember specifically stating that I think it’s his eyes; that they are very expressive.
I’ll say what I said again: whatever character Book is supposed to be playing is not coming off for me. I (that is Kay) am not buying it.

I completely get what you mean about bad buddy. I remember when it aired, I couldn’t get enough of it! all my concerns about BLs were finally addressed. But I went back and took another look; there really wasn’t anything about the characters that made them stand out. It was a stroke of luck that they used really good actors who are able to make any character come to life. I still adore bad buddy though but I completely agree.

Would you recommend cherry blossoms then? I’ve been finding it really hard to get into another series. All the face filters and boring personalities are beginning to take its toll.

Finally watched episodes 8 and 9. Where do I start?
1. I kinda low key knew Theo was a bit crazy. (It’s all in the eyes you see). This might seem romantic to some people but I think it’s downright crazy. All you had to do to find out if your friend (of over 5 years might) had feelings for you was to tell him how YOU feel about them and I dunno? Ask them if they like you back?!?! The whole thing is giving me mental illness and I don’t mean that sarcastically.
2. I agree with the comments that say that Force is carrying the series. He’s very clearly more able to express his emotions in a believable manner. I think it’s the eyes; they’re so beautiful and have the ability to easily shift from sexy to sad.
3. I hear that Force and Brook are longtime friends and I believe that. Sadly that was (in my opinion) one of the cons that severely affected
their chemistry. It takes seasoned actors to be able to pull of sexual chemistry if they’ve been friends for so long. If Force had been
paired with someone else, or even Book, I think the chemistry would have seemed more
genuine. The director with all of the
ridiculous heartbeat sounds and childish
soundtracks REALLY wasn’t helping.
4. I enjoyed the kiss scene. Would have enjoyed it better if I was able to get into the characters. But I won’t not give them that because there was nothing technically wrong with it.
5. I need to know what was going on in the mind of whoever wrote Book’s character. Are they sisters/brothers or close friends with whoever wrote Wayu from gen y? Because the lifelessness was all too familiar. Book’s character is slightly better though; at least he moves!
6. All in all, not my favorite series but definitely far (waaay far) from being the worst! (I’m looking at you Bite me the series….. I’m looking at you).

I’m pretty sure it’ll be available in Europe on iQYI. It’s already showing up on my iQIYI app and I’m in Europe.

That’s it guys! We’ve finally graduated from the “university”. I mean, kinnporsche literally pulled us by our few remaining strands of hair and dragged us out but I’m not complaining, not even a little bit. Contrary to a lot of the other opinions, I like where this is headed. Granted, episode 7 was a bunch of nothing but it showed us a different perspective that we never get to see in BLs. People seem to forget that the way a lot of humans process heart break is to get right into another relationship. It’s not the healthiest, but it’s reality. Someone demand that they were disappointed by how easily Kaitoon got over the breakup and fell in love with someone else but I don’t think he’s in love. He’s probably just trying to move on. If episode is the series finale and Kaitoon ends up with Nont, I will not be pissed at all.
In my opinion Valen and Kaitoon are not compatible personality wise, even if they love each other. Plus, they both have some growing to do emotionally. People with the same level of emotional intelligence almost never work out, especially when said intelligence is very little. It’s either one is more emotionally mature than the other or they both are.
If I were Kaitoon, I wouldn’t pick any of them. I’ll be stagnant with Valen and I’ll literally die of boredom with Nont (God! He’s boring!).

That’s news to me. I thought the shirts were light pink. Lol.
And yes I did and I absolutely loved it the show. (Young Royals). I understand what you mean but I honestly didn’t mind. The characters are teenagers and some teenagers have really bad acne. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me but they make the characters a bit more human and relatable, the imperfections I mean.
Lol and you’re right about the Korean actors’ makeup. I mean they’re just acting not dead! They don’t need all of that.

Nuea or Kuea? If Kuea, I see where you’re coming from. He’s the character I’ve not been able to connect with the most. And yes, you’re right, it’s definitely a completely new concept that they could have done so much more with. Plus filters. I’ve been struggling with them since Tharntype season two. It was one of the reasons I couldn’t Finish the series. I don’t get they they have to be used. I like to see imperfections and realness and lately a lot of these new BLs have been laying it on heavy. Since they’ve already cleared up the issue of Kirin’s identity, perhaps, the remaining episodes will be more exciting?

Definitely a high quality BL; production, costume, set…for some reason however, I haven’t been able to get into it yet. Maybe it’s because I’m just not a fan of “cute”, BL or otherwise. (Ps. This should have been clear to me from the start as the name of the series is literally cutie pie). I’m hoping that with coming episodes, I can actually begin to enjoy like the majority of the commenters here. We’ll see..

I think that at this point , I’m just going to wait and watch one of those fan made videos/ edits (you know the ones that make everything seem pretty and romantic and full of life….those ones..yeah?) to find out what happens in the end. I started this show two months ago with a head full of hair and now I have very few strands left. I cannot afford to pull out any more.

Okay… this episode tore my heart out of my chest especially, the part with Sean not fighting back as Black punched him. I have no idea what’s going on with Black but I think it’s less homophobia and more why the fuck did you sleep with my brother/bring him into this mess plus why the fuck are you distracting yourself by falling in love when we have a mission to accomplish. I guess I could be wrong, we won’t know until next week. But Sean holding on to him saying his name like that broke my heart. This will definitely give him more trust issues. Off is really carrying his own in this series and it makes me really happy to watch his progress as an actor.
Also Dan and Yok?! Absolutely love! I’m just anxious for Yok though and hoping there isn’t a betrayal coming his way.
This is probably my favorite episode so far. The angst!! The sadness! The hurt! Loved every minute. I just hope White tells Sean the truth next episode.
Ps. For people sleeping on this series, word of advice? Don’t!

Okay, so this episode was the best so far.
1. Jeff Satur never disappoints so I wasn’t surprised. After being such an asshole, he just stood there lol. An unbothered king. I Stan lol.
2. Kind carried his weight in this episode and that was surprising. When he cried, I swear, my heart broke a little.
3. Right now, I’m team Non. Valen be damned. The dude is so hot headed and selfish. I don’t know what Kaitoon sees in him
4. Talking about Kaitoon, why the hell was he apologizing? What did he do?!?! I hope he gets to kiss Non in the next episode.
5. What the fuck Pete?? I wonder what his story.
All in all, probably the best episode of part 2 yet. Looking forward to the finale.

Wow! Another week, another nightmare! I’ve been holding on because I hate to drop something I’ve already started but at this point, I might have to do just that. It’s getting to the point where I might start pulling out my hair. For those saying Wayo (Wayu?) is just a gentle man, no….. no, he’s not. He’s boring. Absolutely boring! I’ve seen gentle men in Thai BLs {eg. Pharm from until we meet again (I miss you baby 🥺)} and this isn’t it. This is mind numbing, sleep inducing boring.

There’s a big difference between being gentle and being lifeless. Pharm from until we meet again was a very gentle man. Probably the most gentle man I’ve seen in a Thai bl and yet, he still found a way to have a personality and stand firm on what he would take and wouldn’t eg the scene when Dean was sorta in a trance and was touching him. He said what he had to say and kept it pushing. Whatever Wayu/Wayo is doing isn’t “gentle” in my opinion of course. It’s just bland. Like lukewarm water.

All I can say is that we share the same mind. I watched a forty something minutes episode under ten minuets as my finger never left the advance 10 seconds button. I will make it a goal in life to avoid whatever projects this writer and director (because wtf with the filters?!?!) come up with in the future.
