Although i did prepare myself for the tragic ending but i still cried a river TT
Bai Lu acting is so phenomenal and of course Ren Jia Lun as well. Truthfully all of the cast did so well. Even Wang Xing Yue, he did good and i pity him too in the story.
Cinematography and OST is perfect! Story is a bit slow but good enough.
I need Forever and Ever to give me sweetness *sobs*
(hopefully it will really release on Sept 9 - finger crossed -) Can't wait!

Wow this is one of the lousiest, weird, illogical, random, full of plot holes kind of drama lol
I am a fan of Leo Luo and quite like Victoria Song too but thisssss really doesn't bring them any justice. The plot is just so teribbly written and even their characters are so badly design. And the ending is just wth?? I finish it with 2x speed each episodes and only stuck with it because of Leo but even he can't save this chaotic drama. Did the writer just throw in whatever he/she can think of? And the director just shoot it without any questions? The most awesome part is those actors and actresses, they can still act on it with their best effort.. Just wow~
I was really anticipating this. With great casts and interesting synopsis i thought it will be great but boy how wrong I was. If anyone is actually contemplating to watch or not then my answer is please no don't waste your time, I am sure other bad dramas are better than this.

Not that i hate this but it really does feel like random scenes just adding together to be a drama lol
The plot actually doesn't makes much sense but oh well this is just meant to be some light hearted time passing drama haha
Tbh the kissing and the bed scene is quite awkward

Regardless of how controversial this was and some terrible plot holes along the way, this at least has some kind of happy ending comparing to previous history shows. The most happy part of history4 is the wedding. Finally a homosexual wedding in history series and most importantly is SBX and LZG from previous history couple. I am so happy for them and previous cast showing up again is definitely a plus. Although I am low key hoping XHT and YXG will show up too :(
And when will TX and MSF from history3 shows up again?? :(((

Honestly i was considering a lot if i should watch it or not when it first air (cause i was watching too many shows and not sure if i have enough time to watch this as well). The synopsis doesn't intrigue me much and the first 2 ep was just okay.. Hmm just enough for me to go on but then it slowly became so much more interesting. I definitely did not regret watching this and now can't wait for the last episode. Full of twist and turn and some plot exceed my expectations and guesses. Bravo to the writer. I hope it will not disappoint me in the last one!
PS. Lee Seung Gi acting is soooooo good and of course other actors and actress as well. One of the finest drama produced this year.

She said it to her mom at the hospital ep19. Because she left her brother while they were running away and her brother got killed by car accident while she was caught by HSJ again. Although this is not her fault but she felt guilty and doesn't know how to face her parents so she chose to run away and let her parents think that she's dead/disappeared. She did partly kinda help HSJ in his preying game too so maybe she is guilty of that as well.

Of course the plot won't change according to my emotions. Duh i am not the writer lol God this is funny
I am surprised because he lost his rationality. He is a smart person all along 18 eps and the last action doesn't make sense. Its not like i prefer bromance over romance but anyone could have think of bringing down the older brother first and everyone can be save without dying or get shot so why did he not think about that? Because the writer is trying to create a climax scene for the last episode. However the action clash with rationality which is a loop hole for the drama.
Moreover, I never bring down strong female lead. In fact i do like strong female lead especially in other shows. I am just saying i don't really like her character since the beginning (that is my personal opinion) and she is not even consider strong okay she did nothing much except from crying and shouting most of the time and save by Vincenzo. How is that strong??

Omg seriously?! Why the hell Vincenzo is not helping Han Seo to fight Han seok and bring him down?? (at least make him unconscious or something which he did so many times to other people) but nope he choose to bring the girl go like wth he could have save all of them
The girl has legs okay she can run on her own she is not even hurt but instead he left a weakling younger brother to fight a psychopath
Tbh i don't care about the girl at all cause i don't really even like her character in the beginning (not sure if the actress is bad or the script is) but anyway the romance is a no for me
Typically FL in this situation won't die but i hope i am wrong hahaha i hope for some twist from the writer please
Just some extra thought, psychopath has no feelings and Han seok has killed so many times so he could just shoot Vincenzo after he shoot the girl like boy this is your chance but no he got shocked

Shi de better have a valid reason and something that makes sense to make up why he delay for 5 years until he meet with Shu yi again. Not so sure with the baby part and stuff but my instict tells me that Shu yi's dad might have something to do with it.

I am surprised that Shi de knows where Shu yi's house is though.. If he knew it he could have go find him earlier lol why wait till he came to his company and all these drama? Hahaha

Why does the ending feels kinda open for a season 2? Cause Yuan Yi didn't even get his throne back and he still threatening the bad guys in a way. I can't belive Yin siblings just die off like that although Yin Zhuang memories most probably in Li Sha's body now and Wei Sheng Yan just left off like that? Overall this drama is quite a nice one

Watch until ep7 and so far so good WKX is such a flirt hahaha ZZS is getting more comfortable now with WKX and their chemistry is so good
WKX slight jealous face is so cute and overall both of them are just so cute together.. Their interation is so funny at times and even when they fight they seems to fight so gently with each other (they look more like dancing at times xD)
At first i was a bit skeptical about this but now i am enjoying it a lot
Ps. Those sort of BL scenes are much more than i expected and i am not complaining

I didn't read the novel nor watch the anime so i don't know how the original story goes. I only watch the drama and it is really good so i can't help but keep finding for spoilers lol
From what my understanding, the next season TS will awakened with new ability for his blue silver plant (change to emperor) and Xiao Zhan may not be the ML anymore because the story did mention that TS appearance will change after the second awakening so if they couldn't cast XZ they have a valid reason to change him :(
XW will sacrificed herself for TS at one point but she won't die cause the flower TS mother gave protects her soul or something but they need to do something to get the body back. And when they did they will get married <3
They will also head to the Sea God Island to search for the truth i think and many obstacles will happen in between in order for TS to keep growing stronger (this is just my understanding from the spoilers i see all over the place so it might not be fully correct)
Those that already read the novel or watch the donghua please let me know more cause i am too lazy to follow up (too many chapters and eps lol)
Tbh the ending for ep40 isn't that bad. Just hopefully they can release S2 asap and XZ plus other casts remained the same (i've come to adore each of them along the 40eps) then we will have our unanswered questions to be answer. As i mentioned earlier i only watch the drama so the whole story does kinda makes sense to me cause i am not fully aware of the changed plot therefore i really enjoy the drama

I am actually quite disappointed when Bong Hwan soul got pulled back to the future at that moment and So Young comes back in. Imagine your lover got hurt in front of you (you are worried, scared and anxious) and you won't have any idea he/she will be dead or alive then you teleported to somewhere else not able to go back. He didn't even get to say goodbye or anything. Even in the end the King feels like he is missing something but can't figure it out and also So Young didn't even tell the King anything about it. I feel like she should at least tell him although it can't change anything. I feel sad for Bong Hwan in the future too cause he is all alone after what he had been through of all those 19 episodes and obviously he did fall in love with the King. I do understand that the writer needs to keep this straight (not BL couple) for the sake of TV broadcasting but it is still a bit of bittersweet. Everything is almost perfect, the comedy, the plot, the craziness, the acting etc are really good but this little tiny part feels a bit off. I did get ready for this kind of ending cause I know South Korea won't air this kind of so called BL so publicly but I was hoping the writer can give us something else that can at least satisfy the viewers. For the very least (this is just an imagination ending for me) Cheol Jung reincarnated to a woman body and somehow found Bong Hwan in the future. It can just be a short 30 sec to 1 min scene and I will be satisfied lol
I definitely support LGBT but this at least can keep it as a straight couple and be broadcast publicly. But overall it is quite a nice Kdrama after all.

Their final conversation before QM left he did say that the snake will be back in a few decades lol

After the fighting end i kept asking so where is the snake now? lol
I thought the snake need to be keep in a vessel or something?
But anyway the visual is really nice and all the acting is so good

I really love the first season despite the story do have a lot of plot holes but i adore the couple tharntype. They have great chemistry and they are my favourite bl couple of all time. So S2 is a big yes for me. I was really excited for it but as the story is ongoing i can see that it is going nowhere lol Although they don't have a solid story for S2 i actually don't mind watching their daily lives and being sweet since they are MewGulf. However, the whole drama of Fiat, Leo, Tharn and Type at the end of it or the so called climax of the whole series is really lame. I still put up with it thinking that its okay we can at least get a good and sweet ending so that it can end well. I kinda put high expectation for the last episode hoping the writer can give us something good but nope it is quite disappointing. I mean we do get bits here and there of them being sweet but the whole episode is just full of filler and slow motions. At times i don't really know what am i watching. Overall i am just disappointed that my all time favourite bl couple ended like this sigh

Maybe possible that she was actually 29? And korean age 30? I am not really sure then.. Yeah a time stamp would be good. We did get a time stamp for the 6 months later so i assume if 9 years later they would have put it too. The ending is so confusing omg

I don't think is 9 years later. Korean have this thing that if you have 9 in your age it brings bad luck. Which means that if you are 9, 19, 29, 39 etc you basically will be unlucky that year so i assume Jiah is 29 that's why she saw the mask guy. This unlucky 9 thing always comes out in other kdrama as well
