One of Favorite Watch, A Dreamy Romance!
Headhunters can be ethical and moral, it is a general misconception that they poach talents!
Starring Han Ji Min, Lee Joon Hyuk in lead roles, “Love Scout” encompasses a dreamy romance between a headstrong headhunter and her competent secretary. There is nothing new or novel about this premise so what makes this show any different? Han Ji Min shines in her portrayal of CEO Kang Ji Yun, she is intuitive, sharp tongued but efficient and places her principles above all. Seemingly emotionally strong, Kang Ji Yun suffers from childhood trauma and insomnia which has turned her into a super workaholic person. Her dear friend who worries about her health firmly gifts her a new secretary, Yoo Eun Ho who has been shunned by his industry despite being proficient at his work. The dance between them was intriguing to watch. Eun Ho is a kind, caring person while Ji Hyun is aloof and reserved. Circumstances put them into awkward situations whereby they learn to lean and support each other. The storytelling mostly focuses on their problem solving abilities; Ji Hyun is self-sufficient but clumsy, Eun Ho’s organization skills makes her life easier. Falling in love wasn’t in the plan, but they do; alongside Eun Ho’s daughter, they form a sweet, makeshift family of three!
