Quite Disappointing to be Frank!!
What happens when suddenly one day, you end up inheriting a fortune & there are too many people who want you dead!
This was one of those shows that starts in a magnanimous manner; the story seems gripping interesting in the first two episodes. So, you expect some classy vengeance scripted by the supposedly daredevil female lead. She tries, but in the end, the script nosedives and you are left disappointed. The biggest letdown about this show is its inconsistency, like it doesn’t know where it is exactly headed. The story focuses on Kim Yeong Ran, who is hired by the Gaseong Group Chairman to first become his bodyguard and later, a contractual wife. He alongside his very competent lawyer, Lee Don even have a contingency plan ready for Yeong Ran’s survival after the Chairman’s staged death. The catch is that Yeong Ran gets his family fortune in exchange for seeking revenge on his very creepy stepdaughter, Ga Seon Yeong. The said stepdaughter is more conniving and competent than all the antagonists in the Korean drama industry. That was possibly the only good thing about this show; it had an accomplished villain, because Seon Yeong is goddamn scary.
