I'd love to ready it, please 💕.
My theory is that Wang's dad fell for In but In did not reciprocate at the time. Wang's dad marries the mom due to societal circumstances, but still longs for In and as a result his mental health deteriorates and he turns to alcohol. In is hurt by Wang's dad passing and shuts himself off, leaving a lot of wounds unhealed. Wang and Sasiwimol's arrival opens these wounds in In's heart and he struggles with guilt from his past choices, guilt which then gets amplified greatly by what he might feel in the present towards Wang.

Hope there might be some happiness for them in the end, though

[Minor spoilers]

I wanted to come here and say that I really like Pond's acting as Wang , who is a very interesting lead character and more complex than meets the eye. There is a certain fine line between innocence and mischievousness that he manages to portray perfectly, which to me was a great way to sell the character.
Wang has desires and longings that go beyond pure attraction for another man. He goes through a journey in not only discovering himself, but also finding out who his father really was. He seems to have this inner want in his subconscious to almost experience the life that his father did, but that he was unaware of. This might have been (just a speculation) also triggered by the fact that while spending time with his mother, he became her platonic partner, and fills a spot for a better version of Sasiwimol's ex-husband (at least in her head). I am curious how they are going to toe the line between Wang actual wants and development as his own person vs his attraction to In, and how much that attraction circles back to him wanting to discover more about his father's life.
Both mother and son seem to have in common the fact that they choose to live life through more ore less a fantasy: Sasiwimol through her work and Wang through working out the puzzle pieces of his dad's idealized past.

My favorite scene so far has been Wang's dream sequence. It holds so much meaning and gives away, albeit in an abstract sense, some clues about Wang as a person.

Why doing all that fr, she doesn't remember killing him, just passing out, they make things complicated, they…
I think the lack of trust in police when it comes to being a victim in SK seems to be one of the themes in this show.

The blatant rigging of the ratings for this show... How did it go from 8.5 to 7.9?
Anyways, whoever does the editing and the music score deserves a raise.
I love that the acting is on point, not only with the ML X FL who anchor this series beautifully, but also with the secondary characters as well.
I loved the scene with all the older men in the neighborhood working out and how it perfectly made sense given the exact scene afterward. The comedic aspect is really well done.

Loved the first two episodes.
Moon Ga Young & Yeo Jin Goo are such a good fit for the tone of the show. I honestly believe two experienced actors were needed for this, and we got our cake with them since they both started in the industry as child actors, and their proficiency can be seen in the way they portray their respective roles.
