I have seen worse on facebook . Some mad fans are dedicating their life and time to insult anyone who critisizes their oppa , Specially lee min ho stans .

This drama is wasting Woo Do Hwan' s potenial . He shouldn't have accepted that role . Is the writer blind or something ? Because she doesn't realise the power he holds as an actor and she isn't adding depth to his character and a very little screen time ! Is he seriously the second male lead ? However, I am not impressed , even the king's character is coming from a wattpad story written by a teenager .

Yes, I would still recommend it because it is his best role till now and you don't have to worry because it doesn't focus on politics , but it focuses on the strong friendship between him and yang sejong and the hardships that face this friendship and try to destroy it . Jang hyuk is also in this show , so it's an acting feast for sure . I would also agree with you that kyung nam is doing a better job so he really desercves recognition , I was actually comparing WDH to lee min ho because he has much screen time , but still his character is very superficial and doesn't atract viewers . I think we have a huge problem of writing here .

They are doing the opposite . They are bashing the drama to the extent of rudeness towards the main leads . However , some of their opinions are actually true , they just need to be less rude / violent

You actually said it . He doesn't have enough screen time , he even sounds like a cameo that's why you wouldn't find his character interesting because the writer is too lazy to explore his character so it is her fault . However, people are still impressed by him because he has presense and they enjoy the duality he is portraying . In my opinion, woo do hwan will be one of the best actors in the future because he has an astonishing control of voice tone and facial expression . Unfortunately , the writer is wasting all of that .

It shattered my heart into a million of pieces , It's one of the best kdramas I have ever seen . I realised he was amazing there too that's why i want him in something similar .

I really need Woo Do Hwan in a melodrama that is packed with action or vice versa .

What a waste of talent !

The ridiculous focus on the main couple is frustrating ! They're not even that good at acting and the chemistry is nonexistent . Compare this to goblin , everything was well-balanced there .

HE did something similar in mad dog and save me , his character in both dramas was a bit dark but he would desguise himself as a an innocent , naive person . I really hope that he will get noticed but i fear that he is going to the military after he finishes this drama . I understand that the writer isn't always the one who is responsible for the casting , but kim eun sook is a very popular and established writer , so i thought she may have chosen them .

The writing is the biggest disappointment . Ugh , I had such high expectations for this show . What I imagined in my head before its premiere was better than this !

Yes , mr sunshine seemed much more mature than this show from from its first episode and for Woo Do Hwan , he is absolutely amazing but he isn't given much screen time and his scenes always revolve around the king as if the writer is too lazy to explore his character more than this . In my opinion , my country respected his talent so much that it felt like he was the main lead . However, he is much better than lee min ho . At this point , I really think that casting lee min ho as the main lead was an awful decision . You can't compare him to gong yoo or lee byung hun. What was kim eun sook thinking when she chose the main couple ? They have no chemistry at all !

When i read the plot and watched the teaser , i really expected something epic from the start . I thought it would be captivating and every scene ,dialogue and behaviour would have a meaning . Even the humour , i expected it to be flowing smoothely by the situation and not forced like that . The love story is actually faaaaaar from being called epic , legendary or even realistic . I know it's a fantasy but my imagination expected more magic from this show . I wanted interesting and complex characters with a meaningful past/background/motives . Just imagine that ! if the writing was better and without a lot of meaningless dialogues / staring , this could have been a masterpiece by its fourth episode !
Yes , I know I expected too much , but this is one of the most expensive kdramas ever made ! if you heard about a drama that is so expensive like this , you would expect it to be the complete opposite of boring or superficial . I want it to change for the better more than anyone here because i adore every single actor / actress in this cast but the writer hasn't tried to make them show their best yet . Not a single memorable scene !

Yes ,that's right . I still have hopes for it . I was just critisizing the first 4 episodes but it has a chance to become a memorable drama . I had such high expectations for it , so i feel alittle disappointed . I really want this drama to surprise me from now .

Lee jung jin is slaying his role , he is so charismatic and i find his character very interesting . That's one of the reasons i still have hopes for this show to become better , also woo do hwan's acting never dissapoints but he isn't given much screen time and kim kyung nam 's character is becoming more interesting and he is a good actor . Actually, if they focus more on the plot and the supporting cast rather than the romance , it will subsequently get better.
